There were many standouts throughout the event, and plenty of offers were thrown around as well. Here’s a look at some of the 2026 standouts from the Maryland schools in attendance.
Prince Moody Prince Moody 6'4" | SG Bishop McNamara | 2026 State | 6’3” WG | Bishop McNamara
Moody showed why he’s considered the top 2026 prospect in Maryland yet again in session two, as he was fantastic across the board against high level competition throughout the event. He’s a strong and athletic wing who gets downhill and finishes through contact and above the rim, he has an excellent midrange game where he can hit contested pull-ups, he shoots it well from deep and he competes on both ends of the floor. He finished the event averaging 18 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.
Qayden Samuels Qayden Samuels 6'5" | SF Bishop McNamara | 2026 State | 6’5” WF | Bishop McNamara
Samuels is another very intriguing young prospect on this McNamara team, as he showed an all-around game and a lot of tools that are very promising moving forward. He looks the part with a strong frame and long arms, he shoots the ball well off the catch from deep, he gets downhill and plays through contact and he has huge upside defensively moving forward. He finished the event averaging 13 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Ashton Meeks Ashton Meeks 6'0" | PG DeMatha | 2026 State | 6’0” CG | DeMatha
The way Meeks has played over the live periods, it’s safe to say that he’ll be in the conversation for breakout player in the DMV this year. The 6’0” combo plays with great poise and confidence as he’s talented shot maker with deep range off the catch, he can put it on the deck and stop on a dime to rise up and make tough shots and he plays with good energy and leadership when he’s on the floor.
Neiko Mundey Neiko Mundey 6'2" | PG Shabach Christian | 2026 State | 6’2” PG | Good Counsel
Mundey had another great weekend, and the young backcourt of him and Robinson (below) are going to cause problems in the WCAC over the next few years. Mundey is a super talented scoring guard who is shifty off the bounce and has the ability to knock down tough contested shots from all three levels, he has grown into his body and become a stronger and more athletic finisher at the rim and he can make plays for others and on the defensive end. He finished the event averaging 19 points, 4 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Parker Robinson Parker Robinson 6'4" | CG Good Counsel | 2026 | 6’4” PG | Good Counsel
Robinson is the other part of this talented backcourt, and he compliments Mundey so well that they are an absolute nightmare to try to match up with. Robinson has good size and is a surprisingly quick and explosive athlete when he gets downhill, he has great feel and a good IQ off the bounce, he creates space and is a good finisher in the midrange and at the rim and he’s a driller from deep off the catch. He finished the event averaging 15 points on 64% shooting and 4 rebounds per game.
Zoje Owinje | 6’5” F | Grace Brethren
Owinje is an intriguing young prospect to keep an eye on, as he played well over the weekend and showed a lot of upside on both ends of the floor. He’s a long forward who can play and guard multiple positions, he plays with a great motor and is willing to do the dirty work, he’s mobile and athletic in transition and he still has a lot of room to improve moving forward. He finished the event averaging 10 points 5 rebounds per game.
Shane Pendergrass Shane Pendergrass 6'8" | PF Mt. Zion | 2026 State | 6’8” PF | Mt. Zion
Pendergrass is one of the most impressive young players in MD now that he’s reclassified to the 2026 class, and while he has some older players that are more go-to guys on this team he has so many tools that are intriguing. At 6’8” he moves well and is extremely comfortable on the perimeter, he shoots it well from deep and in the midrange, he has a good IQ on both ends and he can play and guard multiple positions. He finished the event averaging 9 points on 75% shooting and 5.5 rebounds in 12 minutes per game.
