Adidas 3SSB Finals: Top Palmetto State Standouts

He is an athletic young wing, but what impressed me the most was his confidence in shooting the basketball. Caden never strayed from the offense or forced shots, but he frequently got to his spots off the dribble and even hit a couple of catch-and-shoot 3s. Malik is lightning quick - one of the quicker Guards I have seen all Grassroots Season - and the rest of his game plays off that. He is at his best in transition, but can also make plays for both himself and his teammates at a high level in a half-court offense. Watford is a Rising Junior and had a good week playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars'] 16U at the 3SSB Championships. Jordan is not the flashiest of players, but it would be a challenge to find a more consistent player in the State.  Not only is he a top playmaker that sees the floor very well, but he is a great leader. And in a matchup with Team Rose on Friday, Robert got hot. He scored 26 Points shooting 5-7 from behind the arc. Robert has one of the prettiest strokes and the goal for him is always to take good shots consistently. He is a long and athletic forward that is capable of doing a variety of things on both the Offensive and Defensive Ends of the floor. His floor is a really good Rim Protector and Defensive Rebounder, but he is a confident Jump Shooter and is working to maintain consistency. He does a little bit of everything on the floor and has good size and athleticism. Thompson is also one of the best perimeter defenders in the state which is a big boost for this Upward Squad. His athleticism is also a key factor on the offensive end where Tristan is a really good cutter and a strong finisher at the basket.
