Franklin has been a welcome addition to the defending Class 3A State Champion Hurricanes squad. Abijah brings the ability to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. He really looks to excel in the transition game while getting out and playing up-tempo.
Abijah can dial it in from downtown or simply stalk the baseline. He played last year at Legacy Early College after starting his career at Greenville HS as freshman. Franklin made the jump up from #22 stop previously with a strong spring and summer.
Goodman plays a bit off the grid and now this season will be wearing a new uniform. Don’t worry he’s not transferring but joining forces with another previous school to form Hampton County HS in the Lowcountry ‘ last=”].
Goodman brings good versatility to the floor with his play, and it showed moving up 5 spots from #24 in the previous rankings. Joshua can handle the rock, shoot the jumper, defend someone down low or on the perimeter. He tends to keep on improving his game at all times.
Brooks has had several solid outings this spring and summer on the Grassroots and High School scene. Jeremiah made a good jump with his play in the latest set of rankings.
Brooks has the ability to explode in the open court to race by defenders. He has a nice mid-range game to showcase. Jeremiah will fight off defenders on the way to the basket. He really seems to have no problems getting the ball to cup.
Davis jumped to #36 after being in the #70 slot previously. Jarius brings versatility to the floor for the Bruins. Davis a left-handed guard will handle the rock, drop the jumper or stalk the baseline. He does a great job of rebounding the ball from his position on the floor.
Jarius will handle the ball-handling duties up the floor at times or simply step off the to the side and play off the ball.
Can the Bruins make some noise this season in Florence?
Dukes has an old-school game and a new address this coming season. Kevin piled up some numbers last season at Stall HS a Class 5A school down in Chuck Town. This season he will take his skills to the SCISA Class 1A level and play at the new Riverpointe Christian Academy just down the road.
Kevin can play inside-out on the floor at times and tends to be a load in the paint. He really looks to thrive on contact with his play around the bucket. Dukes wants to score the ball and he has the ability to score over bigger defenders down low. He made a solid jump from this season up to #47.
