Keeping the ball moving and flowing throughout an offense will only make everything easier for everyone. Here are players on this list who are great at playmaking and make their team better every game.
Blackley is a player that can seemingly do everything but will look to get his teammates involved before anything. He has great vision and court awareness to make some special plays. He likes to play fast and downhill keeping the ball flowing. Blackley can come off of pick-n-pops and hit the open shooter every time or score himself. He can throw long accurate outlet passes on the fastbreak too.
Highlights
Oliver can play every position on the court. His vision is what helps create a lot of space for his offensive game. He can drive into the paint to draw in a double team and kick it out to the open shooter. Oliver has great control of the ball in high-pressure situations and will make the right read when surveying an offense. He will also look for diving teammates looking to get into the paint.
Miller is always keeping his eyes on the floor when reading defenses throughout a game. He can make some very high-degree passes that most players couldn’t make. Miller waits for plays to develop first and takes his time for it to happen. He makes sure to hit his open teammates and will look to draw double teams to create that space. Miller’s awareness in general is what makes him a great point guard.
Ghee plays with a lot of finesse and shiftiness in his game. Standing at 6’3″ he can look over most players and read different defenses differently than other players. He makes sharp passes while on the dribble and likes to draw double teams at the baseline area to kick out to open shooters. Ghee is great at coming off of screens and setting up his teammates. When on the fastbreak he will look to throw fast outlet passes over defenses.
Colao plays with a lot of quickness and speed in his game which gives him the ability to make quick decisions before defenders can even react. He likes to come off of screens in pick-n-roll situations because it gives him multiple options. Colao is great in the transition game keeping the ball under control and throwing long outlet passes. He draws a lot of double teams and overall his vision is what will take him to that next level at the point guard spot.
