A hidden gem out of southeast Ohio, Kendall is quickly gaining attention and college interest. Playing with Nova’s Ua Rise group, Kendall is a skilled forward who can play either the four or the five at the next level. He can space the floor with his shooting ability and is a quick processor with the ball in his hands. A big fan of what he brings to the table, Kendall should be receiving scholarship interest from across the region at the Division II and NAIA level.
Playing with Ohio Buckets – Young, Brenner has made some noise this spring with his impressive shooting ability and athleticism. Already holding an offer from Kentucky Christian, Brenner is looking for more interest this June, attending regional prospect camps. As a slasher, Brenner has shown the ability to finish at the rim while also making smart dishes to teammates when the defense collapses. Another small-town product with a big-time game, regional scholarship and Division III programs should be all over Brenner if they want a guard shooter with solid size.
One of the top small school scorers in the state, Dragas is a bucket plain and simple. A guard who can play on or off the ball, Dragas is dangerous when attacking a closeout or in isolation sets on the perimeter. His quickness allows him to get into the lane and make the right decision on whether to look to score or pass. An inconsistent perimeter shooter, I’ve seen Dragas knock down some step-back 3-pointers but his jumper is either hot or cold from the perimeter. Another prospect that should be sky high on Division III recruiting boards with scholarship interest as well, the summer months will be crucial for Dragas to continue to build recruiting momentum.
At all levels of basketball, 3-and-D specialists are in high demand and there’s few better than Robinson for small school programs. Robinson is a good shooter off the catch who has a little play-making ability as well when he’s attacking the rim. Defensively, he has long arms and is an active defender. Good help-side defender with his length and on ball he moves his feet well to stay with shifty guards. Robinson projects as a high priority Division III recruit or a partial scholarship specialist who can play a role at the Division II or NAIA level at the right fit. Westerville North is projected to be one of the top teams in central Ohio next season and Robinson will be playing a major role in that success.
Highlights
If you need a shooter, look no further than Tumbridge. The Indy Heat Red sniper has the ability to get hot in a hurry from long distance. With some big-time scoring outbursts with ISA as a Junior, Tumbridge hasn’t missed a beat in the spring with some impressive shooting performances. The biggest thing for Tumbridge is going to be finding a way to help his team win when shots aren’t falling and he gives good defensive effort for his physical limitations. If Tumbridge can make shots in front of the right college coaches, he could see his recruitment skyrocket in one weekend. A shooter to keep an eye on this summer.
