A stretch forward from a small school that was incredibly impressive last season, Minor checks a lot of boxes that small college programs are looking for. One of the most productive players for TNBA ‘ last=”]’ last=”]-Ohio, Minor can hit shots off the catch and is physical in the paint. After receiving honorable mention all Ohio recognition as a Junior, Minor has a chance to be first or second team this upcoming season with continued improvement as an athlete and interior scorer. With Malvern bringing back Minor and J’Allen Barrino, the reigning IVC player of the year, there’s high expectations for the Hornets in 2023-24.
Huffman has shined for Ohio Xtreme Select this spring as he’s showcased his perimeter skill at his size. Able to dribble past a closeout and stretch the defense with his ball skills, Huffman has an outside-inside combo that’s tough to stop. A first team all conference selection and underclassmen MVP of the GABC all star game, Huffman is set to have an even bigger senior season for Cuyahoga Falls.

Another Akron area forward who had a big Junior season, Spicer was one of the key pieces to a district title winning Walsh Jesuit squad. The lefty plays at a unique pace and can score through contact. Walsh Jesuit graduated some key pieces but with Spicer and his grassroots teammate Tyler Bell Tyler Bell 5’11” | PG Walsh Jesuit | 2024 State OH returning, they’ll be a tough out once again.
I’ve been impressed by Cordonnier over the past few months with his production with the Findlay Bombers and with Findlay High School in June. A skilled forward, Cordonnier is an impressive athlete who moves his feet well. A strong presence in the paint, Cordonnier is set to become the Trojans go to option this winter as they transition to a new conference. Small college programs should take a look at him in June with Findlay High School or July with the Findlay Bombers.

Another physical forward, Stidham is a two-sport stud for Oak Hills as he also playing on the line for the football team. After an honorable mention Sw district Junior season, I caught Stidham at the Run-N-Slam playing for his high school coach at the grassroots level. A skilled forward with his back to the basket, Stidham can finish over either shoulder and pass out of double teams. Expect the Oak Hills offense to run through Stidham this winter.
