I caught Huffman in a winter break event and got to see him do more with the basketball at the high school level than what I was able to see him do with his grassroots team. Taking on a heavy scoring load for his high school, I liked seeing Huffman work to try and carry his team. With good size to play either the 4 or the 5 at the NAIA level, Huffman should protect the rim, rebound and provide a little switch ability on the perimeter depending on the defensive scheme Ohio Christian wants to run with him in the game. One of the earlier small college commitments in the 2024 class from Ohio, easy to see why Ohio Christian made him a priority for their program.

A prospect I only got to see once on the grassroots circuit, it was good to see Huffman in a high school setting with Cuyahoga Falls. I thought Huffman shot the ball well from the perimeter and did a good job handling the double teams that were thrown his way. A stretch 4/5 at the next level, Huffman had a couple confident takes off the bounce and pivoted to get cleaner looks at the rim. Easy to see why Ohio Christian prioritized him early in the summer and secured an early commitment.

Huffman has shined for Ohio Xtreme Select this spring as he’s showcased his perimeter skill at his size. Able to dribble past a closeout and stretch the defense with his ball skills, Huffman has an outside-inside combo that’s tough to stop. A first team all conference selection and underclassmen MVP of the GABC all star game, Huffman is set to have an even bigger senior season for Cuyahoga Falls.
