[player_tooltip player_id='1390443' first='Davion' last='Hannah'], Wisconsin's #1 prospect in the class of 2025, suited up for Kenwood Friday afternoon. He opened his eyes early with five quick points. His length and athletic abilities as a wing make him a top 50 prospect nationally. He had a slow start but took over the game late in the first half. After hitting a pair of triples in the first half, he opened up the second with a three and a monstrous transition slam. You also saw some impressive defensive abilities with a chase-down block to go along with an assist to an open Alston later in the contest. Hannah scored 16 in a win over Oswego East. He told us he'll let us know his plans soon.

The backcourt duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2105209' first='Reid' last='Olson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1385296' first='Yaris' last='Irby'] has the potential to be the most dynamic in Chicagoland. [player_tooltip player_id='2105209' first='Reid' last='Olson'] was lethal from downtown and displayed an impressive shooting performance in the first half, capped off with a half-court buzzer-beater to close things out. Olson also had a chase-down block and an and-one finish in the second half. On the block, [player_tooltip player_id='2105191' first='Hunter' last='Gawron'] displayed a high power of physicality and tremendous footwork down low. He converted several quick buckets to begin the contest and had a putback finish early in transition. Later in the game, he showed off his rebound capabilities and converted three second-chance opportunities early in the second half. The fourth player to watch was [player_tooltip player_id='1441432' first='Dylan' last='Lam']. He was remarkably consistent throughout and hit three triples in the first half. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and took advantage of every opportunity he got. He also displayed terrific footwork and vision on both ends and converted a pair of driving layups.

The first thing about the 2026 Point Guard regards his potential. It's as good as any player in his class. If not, better. He displayed several explosive drives to the hoop early on and followed it up with back-to-back threes late in the first half. Defensively, he was sharp on his toes and consistently blocking the lane and forcing deep shots. Later in the game, he became an impressive facilitator with big-time assists. He finished with 21 points in a 76-69 win.

Not only did she show an athletic burst to the hoop, but he was a very efficient facilitator early on. 6'6" F Jake Reimer was big on the class and made it look easy on the block. He was easily the tallest, most athletic player in the paint against Ridgewood. It took no time for the Trojans to take a big lead. Reimer continued to dominate down low in the second half with some key blocks and more easy buckets down low. [player_tooltip player_id='1285524' first='Jack' last='Stanton'] helped make it a 30-point game with a pair of hard drives to the lane before the starters came out.
Other Kenwood Stars Shine vs Oswego East

[player_tooltip player_id='1385283' first='Aleks' last='Alston'] did bits of everything. His length and athletic abilities as a 6'9" wing give him tremendous upside. He also stepped up with his playmaking and rebounding abilities to go along with his high-volume shooting. He even flexed midrange abilities later in the game and banked in a smooth floater. Calvin Robbins displayed tremendous athleticism as a winger with terrific explosiveness to the hoop and an ability to shoot outside. He had a ferocious baseline slam early in the second half too. Down Low, 2024 C [player_tooltip player_id='1157346' first='Jaden' last='Smith'] held his own. He won the rebound battle with his lengthy frame and blocked numerous shots. He also found some assists and tip-outs to open teammates. One final player to watch going forward is Devin Cleveland. The 2027 Point Guard made his R-B debut and didn't disappoint. He showed plenty of confidence driving past bigger defenders and knocked down a couple of jumpers against Oswego East. Alston, Riddle, and Smith each scored 11.
