Reid did the best he could while being face-guarded the majority of the game. He was able to get a four-point play In the first half. The rest of the game he didn’t get many clean shots off until the fourth quarter. Olson settled for 10 points in the game.

The Purdue-Northwest commit demonstrated the poise and leadership of a quality point guard. He showcased confidence as a three-point shooter, knocking down three treys—whether off screens, the dribble, or the catch. A physically built guard, Olson attacked the lane with purpose, finishing strong at the rim or smartly kicking the ball out to open teammates. Defensively, he brought relentless intensity as an on-ball defender, pressuring opponents, forcing turnovers, and locking down ball-handlers throughout the game.

Started the morning with a 30-pt performance against OPRF. Got to watch him more closely vs Taft, where he his playmaking abilities impressed. Pick-and-roll with Hunter Gawron Hunter Gawron 6'7" | PF Niles North | 2025 State IL was common. Finding him open inside on numerous instances. Even hit a contested 3-pointer off his screen. Overall, Olson’s IQ is one of the best in Illinois. Made no poor decisions. Confident floor-general.
