<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Seven wing prospects who stood out over the weekend at Wayzata at the NHR State Tournament!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1297887"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"The Minneapolis Southwest sharpshooter suited up with [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] over the weekend and had a pair of strong showings in the games I watched. On Saturday night against [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] he helped make things close in the second half with a few threes, and then on Sunday against a very good Milwaukee Trailblazers team he took the game over with bucket after bucket to lead his team to a win. Liam has deep range and a quick release with the ability to put up points in a hurry once he sees one or two shots drop. Does a great job of utilizing a quick head-fake and then blowing by a poor closeout to get to the rim where he can make plays as a finisher or dump it off to one of his forwards. A bit more explosive than some people know as well, as he threw down a dunk after driving down the lane on Saturday.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1288822"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Ater has some attributes that make him a very intriguing next level prospect. At 6'4 he has very long arms and not only do they allow him to pick up steals as he can get up in passing lanes, but when combined with his hangtime in the air he can pull off some impressive finishes with either hand. There are times where he just hangs in the air and can manipulate the ball in impressive fashion to go over, under, or around contesting defenders. He plays with a change of speed on the ball you don't often see in someone 6'4, and is a dangerous shot creator on the perimeter who can then knock down shots with his left hand.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1148715"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Jaden started off strong in the 17u title game on Sunday. He was able to leak out for a pair of transition dunks, showing why he's one of the most explosive wings in the state's 2024 class. When he gets a bit of space to accelerate and take off, Jaden can absolutely fly to the rim. After coming into high school as primarily a three point shooter, that's just one of the attributes that Morgan has added to his game. He also does a nice job of reading closeouts to make decisions between shooting the three, blowing by into a one/two-dribble mid-range shot, or exploding to get to the rim and finish. Has the physical tools to defend at the next level as an athletic 6'5 wing, and has shown good instincts to jump lazy passes and get out in transition.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1463408"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Charlie brings 100% effort every time he steps on the floor. Never going to impress with any flashy plays, but gets the job done producing as a versatile defender, rebounder, and finisher. He's a competitive player who's able to guard bigger than his size because of how scrappy he is fighting for position around the basket. Going to be the first guy on his team fighting for a 50/50 ball looking to secure extra possessions for his team. Offensively he just seems to have a nose for getting to the rim, and utilizes shot fakes to get guys in the air before going up to finish. Able to attack off the dribble, run his lane in transition, or move off the ball to open up scoring opportunities.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1874895"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Team FSA played a lot without a true u0022bigu0022 on the floor, and it was often Ja'Carion acting as their tough/scrappy presence around the basket. The Tartan small forward made the most of his chances around the rim, finishing at a high rate even when taking a couple of bumps along the way. Moves well at 6'3 allowing him to guard on the perimeter against smaller wings while also being able to use his strength to defend against bigger forwards. Helped lead Team FSA to the 15u title with his tough play on both ends.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1332274"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Shaun once again impressed as he led Minnesota Lightning to a 17u championship game appearance. Even though his team came up short, he had them in it until the end with a 23 point performance. At 6'6 he moves in a way that very few in Minnesota's 2024 class do, giving him a high ceiling, but he's also been one of the most consistent producers in the state this spring. You never really see him have an off game as he gives consistent effort, rebounds hard, defends a variety of spots, and is such a gifted finisher inside. Shaun impresses as he finishes equally well with both hands, making him unpredictable for opposing shot blockers as you never know what approach he's going to take when he attacks.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1579918"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Hudson plays way bigger than his listed 6'2 height would suggest. That's most noticeable with how well he rebounds the ball. In the 16u championship game he pulled in 11 boards, including some offensive rebounds that he was able to go right back up with or extend possessions for his team. Explosive athlete who reads the ball well off the rim and puts in the effort to chase it down out of his area. Tough as nails finisher who can cut hard off the ball or create opportunities for himself off the dribble. Never seemed to force his own shot, and was very efficient taking what the defense gave him and sharing the ball with his team. Finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists in the championship game showcasing his all-around skillset.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6480742a95d82"} /-->
