Brooks Ohmen
Brooks Ohmen
Ohmen plays with fantastic energy and impacts the game in numerous ways. He’s got all the intangibles. He’s a gifted athlete; in a blowout win, he leaked out on the break for a pair of squeak-in rim-grazing slams. He’s fast and physical which helps him be a good defensive player. Ohmen seems to always be in the right place in the right time and plays the game the right way.
Cade Grapentine
Cade Grapentine
Manitowoc United was one of the most impressive teams I saw. In a team consisting of unselfish players, Grapentine fits right in. He plays with really good tempo and I really like how he surveyed and dissected his opponents zone in a game I saw; he keeps his head up and attacks with decisiveness. Grapentine applies a bunch of on-ball pressure too, making him a rounded player.
Prochnow is another member of the Manitowoc United backcourt who plays a good brand of basketball. He sees the floor well and can provide a nice offensive spark as both a passer and scorer. Prochnow has got a tight handle and is comfortable under heavy defensive pressure.
Jazier McDuffy
Jazier McDuffy
McDuffy has a solid frame and knows how to use it. He’s nearly unstoppable when attacking downhill and finishes through contact at an extremely high rate. He takes advantage of his size with his back-to-the-basket; he likes spins toward the baseline off the left block. McDuffy is an active rebounder and given his ball-handling skills and mobility, he becomes a real threat in transition.
Gio Hayslett
Gio Hayslett
Hayslett is a quick and smart point guard who excels at getting in the paint and finding the open man. He’s a crafty finisher and does well maneuvering through the trees in the paint. I really like his ability to create shots for himself and teammates. He’s athletic and loves to push in transition. Hayslett is also a defensive pest to opposing ball-handlers.
Cooper Markee
Cooper Markee
With confidence in his game and skill to back it up, Markee is a dynamic offensive threat. He is a three-level scorer who moves well away from the ball to create open looks for himself. He has an extended range from beyond the arc and with his fast release, he’s able to get his shot off in tight spots. Markee has great touch as he attacks the basket and makes sure to keep his head up as a passer.
