The annual DMV Live at DeMatha, Virginia Live Period Shootout (VISAA) and Alexandria City and the first ever VA Live by the VHSL will take place at Saint James, all within a 30 mile radius of each other.
We will take the next week or so breaking down the many prospects for coaches to take a look at in these events, and there’s a TON of them.
Here’s a look at part two of the Maryland prospects at DMV Live we expect to make noise at the event.
Tyler Boston Tyler Boston 5'10" | PG Bullis | 2024 State #291 Nation MD | 5’10” PG | Bullis ’24
Boston is one of the best PGs in the DMV area, and he’s the leader of this super talented Bullis team that will have coaches of all levels front and center at DMV Live. The 5’10” lead guard has a blend of talent and toughness as a floor general as he’s shifty off the bounce and makes plays for others when he touches the paint, he knocks down shots from deep and has a great middle game to avoid bigger defenders and he sets the tone for his team with fiery style of competing.
Caden Diggs Caden Diggs 6'7" | SF Bullis | 2024 State #125 Nation MD | 6’7” WF | Bullis ’24
Diggs has been one of the biggest stock risers in the DMV over the past few years, as the 6’7” wing checks the boxes physically and athletically and has continued to improve and put it together recently. He’s an explosive athlete that can get out in transition and rebound with the bigger guys, he can take defenders off the bounce and get to the rim where he’s a good finisher and he can knock down shots form deep off the catch.
Eric Reibe Eric Reibe 7'0" | C Bullis | 2025 State #82 Nation MD | 6’11” C | Bullis ’25
Reibe is a new addition to this Bullis team, but he’s going to have a lot of eyes on him as he’s been one of the top stock risers this spring with New World 16U and already has a number of offers. The 6’11” German native is a talented scorer in the paint as he has good hands and feet and soft touch around the rim, he can step out to the elbows and make shots, he’s always around the ball as a rebounder and he can rise up and finish above the rim on dump offs.
Malcolm Thomas Malcolm Thomas 6'8" | PF DeMatha | 2024 State #122 Nation MD | 6’8” C | Dematha ’24
Thomas is one of the most explosive athletes of a big man that you’ll come across, and he’s got a chance to really boost his stock here in front of the college coaches if he shows his high motor and production. He runs the floor hard and is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor, he’s an exceptional shot blocker with good timing, he fights for 50-50 balls and he’s able to play above the rim as well or better than anyone.
Kade Sebastian Kade Sebastian 6'4" | SG DeMatha | 2025 State MD | 6’5” WG | Dematha ’25
Sebastian is set for a breakout season at DeMatha as a junior, as he played a key role off the bench for a team that was loaded with upperclassmen, but he’s been putting up big numbers in the summer league for them. He’s a knock down shooter with deep range and a quick release and he moves well without the ball in his hands, he’s a blue collar player who hustles and does the dirty work defensively and he doesn’t make many mistakes when he’s on the floor.
Cole Bowser Cole Bowser 6'5" | SG DeMatha | 2025 State MD | 6’5” WG | Dematha ’25
Bowser dealt with some injuries over the past few years, but he’s set to explode this season and has also been putting up big numbers during summer league as well. Bowser’s a long wing who is a good athlete with great ball skills, he’s a dead eye shooter from deep who is consistent and has in the gym range, he rebounds and can start the break where he can make plays for himself and others and he uses his length to get deflections and force turnovers too.
Goap Kodi Goap Kodi 6'10" | C Georgetown Prep | 2024 State MD | 6’10” C | Georgetown Prep ‘24
Kodi is an under the radar big man that is highly under recruited and could do a lot to boost his stock at this event if he can perform at a high level. The 6’10” big man isn’t a finished product yet but is a good athlete with long arms and a frame that should fill out, he is a good rim protector and rebounder, he finishes well in the paint and shows good touch around the rim and he still has a ton of room to get better moving forward.
