Champagne turned it up another notch this spring with the North Oakland Wolfpack. He showed that he can be relied on as a go-to scorer. Champagne works hard without the ball, which leads to more looks at the rim. His jumper was excellent all spring long as he was constantly a top performer every weekend.
Dugener sent a message loud and clear this spring. It was great to see a young man step his game up and show if off on big stages. Yeah, the heads started to turn with his scoring (which was tremendous), but he showed far more than just that. Dugener also tracked rebounds with authority and showed that he could dish the ball off as well.
Rademacher started as a late addition to the Midwest Stampede squad that stepped up when they needed another body. He turned that into a permanent invitation to the team. Rademacher’s hustle and leadership became integral to the growth of the team. These intangibles, plus his grittiness on D and ever improving jumper make him a prospect to keep an eye on.
Highlights
Mercer was just awesome to watch this spring. He showed his skill and upside as a lead guard with the Motor City Grizzliez. Mercer was a dynamic scorer that could break down a defense with his handles. Mercer showed that he could play the game at a fast pace and get his teammates involved as well as score when his team needed it.
It was great to see a talented post player like Haverkamp really show his game off. He’s developed into one of the better post prospects in the state. He uses his length well on both ends and has a very good feel for the bucket down low. This spring has put Haverkamp on a lot of radars.
