Corbett made some strides since March with his play. Korie has had a good spring on the Grassroots circuit with the Georgia Stars on the EYBL Circuit. Korie is a very skilled young man with his ability to rebound, pass, score and just hustle at all times attitude.
He finishes very strong at the basket through contact with his good body control. Corbett is constantly in the middle of the action on both ends of the court which really makes him a tough matchup at times. How will Korie and the Blazers do this season?
Wilbourne played good minutes this past season for the Mavericks at the varsity level. Nathan plays well beyond his years at time with his feel for the game. He has no problem playing with some swagger and confidence on the court.
Nathan can play guard position at times for the Mavericks in the backcourt. Wilbourne already has garnered interest from NCAA Division 1 schools despite being just a freshman.
Young is run-jump-athlete who really excels in a transition style of play. Antwon plays bigger than his size at times with his ability to rebound through traffic and finisher over bigger players.
Antwon already has good look to him for his age and a physical look. What kind of year will he have for the Patriots? He runs on the Grassroots Circuit with a very talented Next Level SC squad.
Baylor plays the game at a traditional football program in the Upstate for the Panthers. JD can score the ball from 3 levels on the floor for the Panthers. He averaged 12.3 ppg and 5.7 rebounds this past season as a freshman.
He always seems to be in the right place on the floor to make a play for his squad. JD excels in getting to the cup and making mid-range jumpers along the way. Baylor will be a need to hear in the years to come from the Upstate over near the Georgia border.
Simpson has had a solid spring and summer for the Cougars. Marco brings a lot of energy and HUSTLE to the floor at all times. He’s a pest on the defensive end of the floor at times with his quick hands and the ability to jump the passing lanes. Marco still must tighten up his handles down the road.
Simpson wants the ball in crunch time of the game. He seems to step up to the plate for big finish every time around. Can the Cougars make some noise in the Lower State come this season?
