As the new 2026 class rankings have been released, I will be taking a deeper look every conference to see which top players are playing in that conference. Here is the KingCo 3A, the number inside the parentheses is where they are ranked inside the entire class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863195' first='Jackson' last='Whitaker'] (24) - Liberty HS

Jackson played a big role as a freshman last year, being a starter. He is a leader on the court, being vocal and playing beyond his years. He has a smooth jumper, being able to sink the long range shot with ease and at high volume. He finds his open teammates, being one of the best passers on his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863256' first='Nic' last='Norrah'] (25) - Bellevue HS

Nic got some solid minutes last year on this Bellevue team that was a tough team to go up against. He gets downhill effectively, using his speed and strength to his advantage. He plays under control with the ball in his hands, being able to adjust nicely to what the defense gives him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685495' first='Mateo' last='Cummings'] (53) - Lake Washington HS

Mateo has grown a bit since the beginning of his freshman year, as he stands roughly 6'2". He's a guard who will have a much bigger role next year and in my eyes, will surprise a lot of people. He has solid handles and a great shot from mid-range and deep. He moves his feet well on defense, hustling hard every play. He's a player who could sneak into the top 25 in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021612' first='Jackson' last='Skaggs'] (60) - Bellevue HS

Jackson's a player with a very high ceiling. He attacks the ball very well with both hands and finishes around traffic down in the paint efficently. He should see more minutes for Bellevue and will take advantage of the playing time, showing why he should be on the court. He will be a great facilitator for the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021659' first='Andrei' last='McDonald'] (WL) - Mercer Island

Andrei will be ranked by the end of next season if he continues to grow his game at the rate he is. He is a gritty player who will do all the little things on the court. He dives on loose balls, fights for rebounds off the glass, and isn't afraid to play tight defense. Be on the lookout for McDonald with Mercer Island next season.
