Jake Stuckey
Jake Stuckey
Jake was a presence to be dealt with inside the paint throughout the weekend. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for in strength and determination. He displayed nice footwork and free throw shooting ability for a big man and was an absolute beast on the offensive boards. He’s not afraid to shoot and was communicating consistently with his teammates on the floor. He asked for the ball multiple times down low and showed resiliency when he missed shots by attacking the glass and sometimes getting up a second or even third shot attempt.
D’marion Garland
D’marion Garland
D’marion showed off his speed multiple times throughout the weekend. Whether it was driving coast to coast for an easy layup or hustling to get an offensive board to kick to a teammate, he seemed to be everywhere. Terrific ballhandling skills and a tenacious spirit anchored his performance and lifted up his teammates. He has a wonderful ability to penetrate and kick to the open man with his excellent court vision.
Kobe Cooper
Kobe Cooper
Kobe was a marksman from outside and incredibly important to his team all weekend. He showed terrific communication skills with his teammates – constantly talking as they were running back on defense or setting up a play. He also displayed a mean crossover and an uncanny ability to drive to the hoop. He never took a play off and showed tremendous hustle on the boards and going after loose balls throughout the tournament.
Chase Edmond

Chase was a force to be reckoned with his sharpshooting behind the 3-point line. Constantly making defenders scramble in single coverage, he was also able to successfully drive and kick to his open teammates when his defender recovered in time. He showed a great ballhandling ability and wasn’t afraid to do the dirty work on the offensive glass in order to get more shot opportunities for himself and his team.
Maddox Taylor
Maddox Taylor
Maddox brought a defensive intensity to the tournament that I enjoyed watching. He hustled every play and was able to get steals and turn them into extra points and possessions for his team. He displayed his quickness in transition by driving coast to coast and making the right decisions – whether that be taking it all the way himself for a high-percentage shot or pulling up and showing off his superior shooting form with a jump shot like butter.
