Woidke put on the most impressive performances I saw all weekend. This kid was unconscious. This kid’s confidence is through the roof. He will shoot it from wherever and it will go in. There was no stopping him only trying to contain him, good luck doing that. His midrange pull-ups are in great timing and he elevates very high which makes the shot a clean look for him. He has an unstoppable quick spin move that he either uses to get all the way to the rim or fade away from the defense. He is a sneaky really athletic kid. He is a thick strong kid that is unbelievable at finishing. He was making some absurd finishes. His ability to finish through and over contact was very impressive to see. He was finishing over and through big players all weekend. Has incredible touch around the rim. Woidke also has that dog in him. He was such a competitor and leader this weekend. He was just waiting for someone to say something to him to set off his fire even more. Great communication with teammates and on defense. Very active on the bench. I am a huge fan of this kid.
Highlights
Jones is just so talented. His skill set is so polished and clean. Super long and quickly makes his moves so much wider and deceiving. He has a great handle on the ball and has such a good understanding of attacking the defense’s top foot and making them swift their hips. Then when he has you skating he has a quick pull-up. His shoot was the most impressive thing from the game I saw him play. He seemed to have hit everything. Super great confidence that seemed to just know everything he shot was going in. He seemed to be in a flow state with how much rhythm and great pace to his game.
Not many people I’m picking over De’Erick Barber De’Erick Barber 5’11” | PG Richmond Heights | 2025 State #268 Nation OH to be the point guard for my team. He is a savant in the game. Every game I’ve ever seen him play, especially this weekend, he controls the game. He wants to play fast, he can, he wants to play slow, he can. If I was his coach I’d have complete trust with the ball in his hands. He is always in control of himself and the game. He is such a shifty player with an incredible change of pace. He just kind of bounces from spot to spot and always sees the entire floor. He is a great passer that always makes the right play and hits the wide-open guy. Very smooth game. Great team leader as well. So he isn’t just a floor general but he is a team general as well.
Sheets is a player. I’ve always been high on this kid since I first saw him play but he has improved so much that he is now a player. He has gotten bigger and more athletic. He is listed at 6’5 and he seems to have gotten much bigger and stronger. He sort of floats around when he runs because it’s so smooth and then he’s got some real explosion on his jumps. He showed great presence on the defensive end. He was phenomenal at rim protection and was locking down all five positions. Offensively he is a great slasher that is kind of like a train on the railroad because he is tough to stop when he gets it going. Quick and strong rips from the wing and creates contact when taking it to the rim.
