6-3 2026 Saline The definition of a power guard. Sanderson came out firing against Wisconsin’s Power 5 and didn’t let up despite the score in the lopsided victory. Attacked the basket you don’t often see from a guard this young. Good deep shooter with a trigger quick release. But really excelled in the mid range. Set up these looks and created space with an effective jab step. Brought the same amount of aggression to defensive end as he did offensively. Primarily played the point for Midwest Basketball Club. However I think he is a scoring guard in the Matt McQuaid mold long term. Future is really bright in Saline. Two other Hornets were showing promise across town with REACH-White.

(6-6) should form a potent long term trio.
Julius Wilson Julius Wilson PG L'Anse Creuse | 2026 State MI 6-2 L’Anse While Sanderson was more than advertised and proved his status near the top of the 2026 class. He might not have even been strongest player in his own backcourt. Wilson was simply a force going the basket. Shed defenders like a fullback on his drives. Also used his powerful frame to be a factor down low. Earned three offensive rebounds on one possession. Competed hard defensively with high level of intensity. Outside of the physicality. Showed good mechanics on his shot.
Keyshawn Summerville Keyshawn Summerville 5'10" | PG Lansing Sexton | 2026 State MI 5-9 Lansing Sexton (pictured) Small point guard had a good Saturday for the Grand Rapids Storm. Makes up for his diminutive frame with quickness and a very tight handle. Already plays with good pace and an understanding of the point guard position. Has an effective snake dribble that allows him to create space on perimeter. Uses a nice float game that allows him to get his shot off against bigger defenders. Plays with regular season teammate Markese Murray Markese Murray 5'8" | SG Lansing Sexton | 2026 State MI on the Storm as well. They are forming nice chemistry and should be a nice duo in the Capital City area for the next three years.
Braylon Frantz Braylon Frantz 6'1" | PG St. Clair | 2026 State MI 6-1 St Clair I have liked this guards game since catching him in the fall at the Prep Hoops Freshman Expo. Played with an excellent sense of balance. Doesn’t get knocked off his spots on penetration. On Saturday I was struck by his development as a playmaker. Ran the point for REACH-Blue. Seemed comfortable in pick and roll situations. Good live ball passer. Hit teammates in stride on rolls. Had an excellent freshman campaign and continues to trend towards being one of the top prospects in the 2026 class.
Randy Chapman Jr Randy Chapman Jr 6'2" | SF East Kentwood | 2026 State MI 6-2 East Kentwood Chapman is a versatile guard that just seems to have a knack for scoring. The ball just seems to find him in scoring opportunities. Primarily operates in the mid range at this point in his development. Uses lanky build and quick elevation to rise above defenders. Draws contact and gets to the line often. Will need to add weight to his frame long term. But plays with a surprising level of strength already. Had a key late tip in his teams victory over a good TNBA Select squad. Part of a deep EK backcourt rotation. Consequently might not hear from him in the regular season for a bit. However could be one of top scorers in West Michigan by his senior campaign.
