The explosive guard has the burst to get downhill in the halfcourt. Once he gets to the rim, he’s a fearless finisher, capable of acrobatically avoiding contact or finishing through it. Often for “And 1s”. While promising due to his physical gifts and energetic playing style, he’s still finding his footing at some of the skill level aspects of basketball. He’s prone to moments of over-dribbling, which at the high levels of AAU basketball and eventually college, is an issue. Refinement to his decision making and reading of the game is the next step in unlocking his high ceiling.
Erick Wilson
Erick Wilson
The rising junior from OKC first caught the eye at PH Grind Region Kickoff. Wilson continued to turn heads with his “effortless” looking ability to glide up and down the court. He also broke into double figures a couple different times while playing in the 17U Division with the Icons. Wilson pairs with Jamarie Dubose to bring a vertical aspect to the Icons on both ends of the court.
Xavier Roberts
Xavier Roberts
Roberts was a key part of Team L.O.E.’s championship run. The lanky wing plays bigger than his size thanks to his bounce and toughness for a skinnier player. He showed off his hops by catching lobs, cutting backdoor for slams and blocking shots. The Houston area product’s high activity level throughout the semifinals and finals was the type of performance that will stand out to college coaches in July during the next live period.
Marvin Warren
Marvin Warren
A powerful athlete, Warren is like a freight train when he finds space to attack the rim in transition or the halfcourt. Along with attacking the rim with powerful finishes, often dunks, the unsigned senior is also active on defense. Capable of pining shots at the backboard, which is possible due to his combination of explosiveness and long wingspan. Warren has some raw aspects to his game, but has great natural tools, which he paired with a strong motor in OKC.
Emanuiel Gach
Emanuiel Gach
A consistent impactor around the rim, Gach is very light on his feet for a player his height. That trait along with his long arms give him the ability to be an impactful rim protector and rebounder. Sometimes it’s via strong blocks or rebounds. While also having a quick second jump that allows him to recover quickly when protecting and stay active on the glass.
