WI Playmakers Run Over ET21

ET 21 Buckeyes and [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] had tons of athleticism and size on display. But it was [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] who really showed up. They had the early advantage with Issac Skemp knocking down four triples in the opening half to give them a double digit lead. The bounce from [player_tooltip player_id='1203029' first='Evan' last='Anderson'] was sensational. He had a posterizing slam in the first half and almost another one in the second. At only 6'4”, the kid can absolutely fly. Even 6'3 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1702897' first='Henry' last='Meyer'] had a dunk of his own in the second half of the contest. But the biggest second-half performance came from [player_tooltip player_id='1160035' first='Tamarrein' last='Henderson']. He had a big scoring outburst and he of course threw down a dunk of his own in transition. This was all part of a big 81-53 win.

Coppge leads [program_tooltip program_id='2078838' first='World' last='Hoops Elite'] Past Team OT

Defense was heavy from the start of this contest. In fact, it took eight minutes for either team to reach 10 points. Led by [player_tooltip player_id='1289063' first='Kaden' last='Coppage'], [program_tooltip program_id='2078838' first='World' last='Hoops Elite'] went on a big run. Eventually leading 28-16 at halftime. Coppage knocked down an early three and seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. He hit another three to open the second half and continued to find the hoop. Like his teammates, Coppage made his presence felt defensively too. He did a great job at keeping opponents in front of him and squaring his feet. He finished with 19 points and WHE won 50-39.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 2024 Wynia Win Sunday

This was a team I really enjoyed watching last month. After a tough loss to Wisconsin Playground Saturday, they took care of business this morning against Elite 8. [player_tooltip player_id='1544439' first='Andrew' last='King'] had an impressive start to this contest. The 6'4” CG can hit shots from both beyond the arc and attacking the hoop and scored nine of the Titans 13 points. He remained consistent throughout the game and was even a contributor on the boards with a put-back finish in the second half. On addition, [player_tooltip player_id='1411676' first='Ty' last='Burgoon'] had a solid game. The 6'0 Point Guard was a consistent passer and confident at attacking the hoop. [player_tooltip player_id='1296155' first='Brock' last='Remme'] had a big second half converting two and ones and scoring 14 totals points. [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] took care of business 65-47.

16U MN Heat

There's quite a few prospects on MN Heat 16U Academic squad that provide plenty of promise. Four players were taller than their opponents, Clippers Nation Elite's, tallest player. 6'7” F [player_tooltip player_id='1586877' first='Ian' last='Schnabel'] had a big game on the boards while creating and converting a handful of second chances. He was also efficient at drawing contact and converting from he line. Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2103373' first='Tommy' last='Rowland'] started the game with a deep three and some more buckets inside. Later on, he showed terrific speed up the floor and the ability to push his way to the hoop through contact. He led Minnesota heat on a big run late in the game to make this an exciting contest down the stretch. [player_tooltip player_id='1585946' first='Omar' last='Kaba'] had a big second chance bucket late in the game to make it a one score contest. The 6'7” F brings plenty of athleticism to his position.
