Ayden Johnson Ayden Johnson 5’10” | PG Caldwell Academy | 2026 State NC has been impressive the last couple weeks with BSE 16U, and continued his streak of good performances today in their win over SWVA Elite. He’s very comfortable with leading the offense alongside teamamte Dane Cassada Dane Cassada 6’3″ | CG Calvary Day School | 2026 State NC , and seems to be more offensively aggressive than almost anyone on the court. He’s always looking to get to the rim or to his spots inside the arc to shoot the pull-up jumper, and is very comfortable using his one or two dribble moves to get there efficiently. Not going to be a defensive stopper with his size, but works hard on that end as well. He’s a younger guy to watch for a breakout year at Caldwell Academy this year.

Albright was impressive in his RPT team’s performance today, putting up plenty of points in their matchup against the WS Hustlers. He got to his spots and exuded confidence when looking to score the ball, which he did well both inside and out. He knocked down 3’s in multiple spots, and was solid finishing in the paint over some more physical or bigger defenders. He showed toughness and effort on the defensive end to keep working hard even when things weren’t going his team’s way, and I thought he was showing off some dynamic ability to score the ball which his team will need next year. I like him to be a D3 or NAIA player at the next level as an undersized 2 guard.

AJ Baskerville
Baskerville is a late add for schools that could be really helpful as a wing or forward, as he did a variety of things well for Big Shots Elite 17U in their win this weekend. He’s a floor stretcher, with a smooth release and ability to knock down the 3 from all over the court. He’s also got a smooth blend of ball skills, where he excels as a driver especially when he gets to his right hand. Elsewhere, he gives all kinds of effort on the glass, notching 7.3 RPG on the weekend and really being a force on the glass. He’s the kind of long forward that does things so important to college basketball squads these days that should be a big time pickup for a lower level school.
Oldham has been one of the names in his class I haven’t seen much of, but quickly saw why everyone is buying stock. He is super long and athletic, which lends itself well to him being a rim protector and glass cleaner. His game is definitely still raw, with him looking to find his fit with physicality, when to score, and how to be more aggressive overall. Unlocking that is the next big step for him, as it will allow him to be unstoppable on both ends of the floor. He’s already got the physical tools which were on full display this weekend, and once he figures out the mental side, he will be a force in his class.
