Memorial Day Weekend is here with AAU teams putting the final touches on their spring AAU seasons. The Jersey Shore Jam Fest opened up on Saturday with teams trying to take home championships. Here are the standouts from the opening day of the Jersey Shore Jam Fest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1786395' first='Luke' last='Schorr'], 6'2 SG NJ Panthers 2025

Schorr had a big day for the NJ Panthers 16U HGSL team as he drilled the game-winning three to keep them in the winners' bracket. The 6'2 guard has a quick release on his jumper and made opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. Schorr moved well without the ball in his hands and put the ball on the floor nicely. He slid his feet well on the defensive end and was unafraid of taking a charge. Schorr's ability to knock down triples in bunches is something that will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1413231' first='Elijah' last='Crispin'], 5'10 PG NJ Shoreshots 2025

Crispin had a strong showing for the NJ Shoreshots 16 U HGSL team as he showed the ability to multiple things in the backcourt. The 5'10 guard started off the game burying three jumpers from distance, knocking down jumpers off the catch and bounce. Crispin did more than just as he was also able to get into the paint and finish. He found his open teammates in the halfcourt and was able to get deflections on defense. Crispin is a sharpshooting lead guard who should continue to make plays throughout the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595676' first='Jalen' last='Maldonado'], 6'2 CG New Life 2026

Maldonado may have been playing up, but that did not stop him from making plays at both ends. The 6'2 guard shot the ball with confidence from distance and wasted little motion in his shot. Maldonado attacked the basket with a purpose as he finished a pair of crafty and-ones in the opening game. He was unafraid of defending players larger than him and moved his feet defensively. Maldonado is a crafty guard prospect who will be one to watch in June and July.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456864' first='Myles' last='Parker'], 6'6 W [program_tooltip program_id='2078569' first='Jersey' last='Force'] 2025

Parker had a strong showing as he was more aggressive attacking the basket. The lanky 6'6 lefty was able to get to the rim consistently and finished several tough layups. Parker rose up nicely on his jumper and rarely forced shots in the half court. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his length to be disruptive on defense. Parker is a long wing prospect whose stock could rise with more performances like that.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763422' first='Johnny' last='Mayers'], 5'11 CG RF Elite 2025

Mayers had a good showing for RF Elite as he was able to create for himself offensively. The 5'11 guard used his handle effectively to get into the lane and finished nicely around the basket. Mayers has a good release on his jumper and set his feet before he shot. He showed the ball ability to play off the ball as well and moved his feet defensively. Mayers has the potential to have a big summer if he continues to make plays at both ends of the floor.

Other Prospects to Know:

[player_tooltip player_id='1943555' first='Quinn' last='Gibson'], 6'4 W Penn Warriors 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1472517' first='Alex' last='Grospe'], 5'8 PG NJ Panthers 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1271429' first='Kai' last='Shinholster'], 6'4 SG K-Low Elite 2025

Samaj Long, 6'0 PG New Life 2025

Tristan Burth, 6'8 PF Kips Bay HGSL 2025
