Eclipsing the 1,000 point mark during his senior season really encompassed the type of shot maker Johnny Mayers Johnny Mayers 6'2" | SG North Star Academy | 2025 State NJ has been for North Star Academy, becoming only the second player in program history to do so. As the season went on, Mayers displayed his ability to not only attack the basket in aggressive downhill fashion but also get to his spots and hit smooth mid range pull up jumpers. Mayers also showed to be just as effective off the ball, knocking down in rhythm open catch and shoot threes from the perimeter throughout the course of the season.
