These are players I saw throughout the weekend imposing their play on opposing teams, creating opportunities, and spurring action with or without the ball. They proved they could play their game despite the competition they faced and represented their teams as some of the best from the weekend.
Landen Cline | 5’8 | Xpress | Toledo/WA | 2027
Only a 2027, Cline showed an uncanny ability to penetrate defenses and lead his team in some close games. He’s a tough competitor and created a ton of action for his team on offense.
Arman Mahvani | 6’4 | OTD | American/CA | 2026
Mahvani was one of the few big guys on display in his division and he showed an ability to remain calm in the post, finish with touch at the rim, and run the floor to consistently get involved in plays.
Pierce Bierlink Pierce Bierlink 6'0" | PG Quincy | 2026 State WA | 6’0 | BDH Elite | Quincy/WA | 2026
The steady hand for his squad, Bierlink hit clutch shots from the outside and helped his team play at their pace throughout the weekend.
Trevin Gale | 6’0 | Xpress | Toledo/WA | 2026
Gale was a multi-faceted attacker on offense who could get to the hoop, drop in some shots from outside, and was really a high-activity player for Xpress.
Juma Whatley | 6’2 | More than Hoops | Gresham/OR | 2026
Whatley is a guy that can hit from outside, but it was his strength at the rim, finishing plays, and grabbing boards, along with his ability to pass out of pressure that caught my eye this weekend.
Quentin Neal Quentin Neal 6'2" | CG Centennial | 2026 State OR | 6’2 | More than Hoops | Benson/OR | 2026
This guy was huge in tight games, finding room to drive past opponents and using his moves to set up defenders and gain an advantage for his team.
Denzel Jackson | 6’1 | OTD | Mt. Eden/CA | 2026
He was one of the more slippery players from the weekend and did it with quickness, big crossovers, and strength with the ball while moving through traffic.
Josiah Edwards Josiah Edwards 6'4" | SF Graham Kapowsin | 2026 State WA | 6’4 | BDH Elite | Graham Kapowsin/WA | 2026
A big-time rebounder, clutch rim defender, and long finisher in transition, Edwards is a full-effort guy that made play after play inside.
Deryk Farmer Deryk Farmer 6'2" | SG Cascade Christian | 2026 State OR | 6’2 | BDH Elite | Cascade Christian/OR | 2026
Here’s another guy that fills the stat sheet. Farmer hit shots from all levels over the weekend and was a physical defender in the paint and on the perimeter.
Amare Waterford | 5’11 | No Fear Elite | Modesto Christian/CA | 2027
The second 2027 to make the top 20, Waterford was a crafty guard who found lanes to attack all weekend and was the engine behind his teams’ offense.
Artie Carlow | 5’9 | Pack 2026 | Bismark/ND | 2026
Carlow handled the ball quite a bit and showed a nice ability to hit from outside, then play off of that and move the ball inside. He can get hot from long-range and helped lead his squad to a 3-1 weekend.
Kareem Artharee Kareem Artharee 6'3" | CG Gresham | 2026 State OR | 6’3 | More than Hoops | Gresham/OR | 2026
Artharee was a big presence at the rim. A big body that has some good guard skills, he was tough to stop with the ball in his hands and showed an ability to hit a few shots from behind the arc too.
Jordan Bennett Jordan Bennett 6'0" | PG Emerald Ridge | 2026 State WA | 5’10 | BDH Elite | Emerald Ridge/WA | 2026
This guy is a smart player that almost always makes the right play. He’s a two-way player that got hot in their last game of the event but provides steady, effective play to keep his team even-keeled.
Lawrence Marshall | 6’4 | Pack 2026 | New Town/ND | 2026
Here’s another bigger guy that caught my eye. He has good length, fights for 50/50 balls inside, and was a strong player in the paint for Pack 2026.
Raylen Rigney Raylen Rigney 5'11" | SG Graham Kapowsin | 2026 State WA | 5’11 | BDH Elite | Rogers/WA | 2026
Rigney is a top shooter from the weekend and also has shown some strong finishing at the rim, with a tendency to slip out in transition and get ahead of the defense.
Jacob Diaz | 5’9 | Team Progress | Glencoe/OR | 2026
He’s their top playmaker but doesn’t really force the ball in anywhere. He makes smart plays and balances that out with some aggression in attacking gaps in the defense.
Malakai Weimer Malakai Weimer 6'3" | SF Skyview | 2026 State WA | 6’3 | BDH Elite | Skyview/WA | 2026
He was extra tough on the glass this weekend, especially fighting for offensive boards. He also was able to absorb a lot of contact at the rim and managed a few and-one finishes.
Brennan Cacao | 5’9 | OTD | Moreau Catholic/CA | 2026
Cacao was another really shifty guard for OTD and his stop-and-go ability kept defenders off-balance while he prodded for an opportunity to attack.
Cooper Fallon | 6’4 | Xpress | Toledo/WA | 2026
One more big guy for you, Fallon was a true bruiser inside who gobbled up rebounds and was ready and waiting inside for dump-downs and tough finishes.
Brayden Miller | 6’1 | More than Hoops | Scappoose/OR | 2026
Miller was able to stretch defenses and make some smart plays with the ball throughout the weekend. He also has the size and strength to help on the boards and was key in helping his team finish 4-0 at the event.
