Edwards is a tenacious player around the rim on both ends who plays with infectious energy. He’s a high-effort rebounder who can inspire runs with his work for second chances on the offensive end, has good length at 6-foot-5, and works hard to defend the paint by contesting and blocking shots. He’s quick and long enough to take advantage of some gaps from the perimeter against bigs, and has shown how valuable his desire to do the dirty work is this spring.

Josiah lets the game come to him, not rushing anything on the offensive side of the ball. Edwards defends at a high level and is the type of player to understand that games are won on the defensive side of the ball first. He takes pride in his defense and it shows with his passion and intensity on the court. He has been evolving his game in a big way this summer with NW Drip.

Edwards was a constant presence on the offensive glass, attacking the loose balls and ripping down boards for extra opportunities. He showed outstanding fight inside and was a constant threat to run the floor and finish contested buckets at the rim.

Edwards is a hard-working forward who really ran the floor well and made strong takes to the hoop, finishing through contact and often beating defenders to the cup. He’s a long kid who played hard all weekend and made some big defensive plays from the help side to bring some rim defense to his BDH squad.
