McCruter passes the eye test. He is tall with some absurdly long arms. He moves very well and is coordinated. He played more inside than out but showed the ability to do both. When he had his back to the basket he showed some really good footwork and moves. He also displayed patience and vision to kick it out to players after their defenders helped in. McCruter also showcased a good jumper when he knocked down and three which made the defense have to fully close out to him and when they did he drove by them. This kid knows how to play the game but has a lot of room to grow.
Justin Haralson
Justin Haralson
Haralson has all the tools. He has a great build; tall, wide shoulders, and long arms. He moves super well and has some really nice athleticism that he uses to get rebounds and protect the rim. He has a high motor and knows how to play the game. His shot does not have much of an arc on it but his midrange goes in a lot. He shows some skills in the post. He can finish with both hands. He has a really good foundation to build upon.
Rainey was the best defender I saw all day on Saturday. His hands were phenomenal. He got a ton of steals from on-ball pressure and in the passing lanes. He has multiple tips and deflections. Seemed like if the ball was able to be poked put around him, it was going to. He is twitchy and quick. He is also sneakily athletic. He is only listed as 5’11 but had 2 fast break dunks in the game I saw. He is a pass-first point guard that showed some great playmaking ability in the half-court. He had a ton of dump-offs and kicks out to teammates.

Duke has a lot of talent and skill. His basketball IQ is beyond his years. He is a great passer. He is a slasher that is sneakily super athletic. He is really fast, strong, and bouncy. He was throwing the ball down with 2 hands off 1 foot pretty easily. He had multiple steals. There were times watching the game I wanted him to be more aggressive and have the ball in his hands more but he seemed to be good with being an off-ball guard. He also has really good defensive reads and anticipation.
