Colton Benson Colton Benson 6'5" | SF New Ulm | 2024 State MN of New Ulm/Minnesota Rise (6’4 SF). Colton’s shooting touch was good and then it was impressive, and lately it’s become special. Benson is known as a scorer teams must stop but still he scored 30 a game at New Ulm and he’s been the top scorer in numbers in Minnesota’s 17u level of hoops. The three point touch is way past 40 percent club plus he is rebounding and scoring around the basket too.
Josiah Coleman Josiah Coleman 6'3" | SG Edina | 2024 State MN of Edina/Howard Pulley (6’3 Guard). Coleman is a strong story as he was a good player at MCA that moved over to Edina and has not looked back. He had a great fall catching attention, Josiah led the Hornets in scoring as their main playmaker, and Josiah has played very well for the Panthers this spring.
Fitz Freeman Fitz Freeman 6'6" | C Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2024 State MN of Robbinsdale Armstrong/Minnesota Chill (6’7 Big). Freeman has grabbed our attention this spring. He did some good things for the Falcons this past winter but he’s become one of the strongest player in this senior class coming up and he’s also agile at that size. Freeman holds off posts, moves well on defense with the ball screen, and he’s a physical rebounder. As he continues to get experience he can be an excellent role playing big.
Brandon Hrncir Brandon Hrncir 6'8" | PF Farmington | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Fury/Farmington (6’7 PF). You have to be quite agile or quite skilled along with the right size to be a high D2 or D1 level recruit these days and Brandon is certainly agile, he’s 6’7, and that skill has come along. His ability to finish around the basket over contesting arms has really caught attention. And his consistency of production this spring has also caught attention.
Aiden Johnson Aiden Johnson 6'6" | PF Legacy Christian Academy | 2023 State MN of Cannon Falls/Minnesota Comets (6’5 SF). When we saw Aiden this March he was a scoring option facing, back to the basket, actively, and doing some skilled things. But what we have seen with the Comets is an intense, hard working defender and active offensive player that is hard to take off the floor. He has the ability to do things as an all around player at 6’5 and athletic that colleges search for.
Kyle Jorgensen Kyle Jorgensen 6'9" | C Minneapolis Washburn | 2024 State #308 Nation MN of Minneapolis Washburn/Minnesota Comets (6’9 Big). The shooting touch and back to the basket game of the Minneapolis City low post monster has caught attention. The modern game loves bigs that can stretch the floor, and they love bigs that can get out and defend the ball screen. Kyle is the first type and that is why UST has offered and others are looking.
Jaden Morgan Jaden Morgan 6'4" | SG DeLaSalle | 2024 State MN of DeLaSalle/DeLaSallle (6’4 Wing). It took me a bit to get it with Jaden but I am really starting to see it. Jaden is a scorer and he can come at you in a lot of ways. The jumper is better than I thought with feet set and he scores on the move in a way that only some can do. Morgan is scoring for Select in bulk and he’s become one of the toughest to stop on Minnesota’s 17u scene.
Keegan Ryan Keegan Ryan 6'2" | SF Lake City | 2024 State MN of Lake City/Minnesota Lightning (6’4 Wing). Ryan has the size and athletic ability that screams scholarship athlete. He runs well, moves his feet well, is well built, and with a couple steps to the rim he is explosive. Even more impressive is that Keegan has become a solid shooter and he plays well within the structure of really good Lake City and Minnesota Lightning programs.
Noah Stommes Noah Stommes 6'8" | C Eden Valley-Watkins | 2024 State MN of Eden Valley-Watkins/Minnesota Comets (6’8 Big). Noah just took his team to the state tournament and now we are seeing his strength so clearly each game. Noah is as strong as they come at this level and his ability to hold players high around the basket as well as his ability to board strong, and to set a strong screen are assets people will want. He’s also an excellent rebounder. Noah plays a role and plays it well.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6'7" | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN of Rochester Century/Minnesota Lightning (6’7 Small Forward). With a frame that that Shaun has really grown into, the agility and athletic ability of a scholarship player, and improved skill work Shaun has exploded on the 17u scene this spring. You know it would come after seeing what his brother did at this same time landing in the NSIC, but Shaun is even more than that because he can play the way teams need him to at the three. Top 15 prospect in this class at least.
