Today we scoured the Pennsylvania Class of 2026 rankings to reveal six players who this winter grabbed our attention with a breakout freshman season and thus appeared in our 2026 rankings for the first time.
Below is a review of six southeastern Pennsylvania 2026 prospects who made their rankings debut in our latest update.
#37… Kobe Bazemore Kobe Bazemore 5'10" | PG Upper Dublin | 2026 State PA – 5’10” / Upper Dublin / BW Elite / Point Guard: During the late fall, UD’s football team made a deep state playoff run that caused several frontline players from the hoops team to miss time. Thus, Bazemore was pressed into duty early on this season. He responded well and played with a great deal of poise. Bazemore is a quick and fearless guard with a pass first mentality. His ability to get into the paint and then kick out to an open shooter is impressive. When he is looking to score, Bazemore does so via dribble pull ups and by getting to the cup for lay-ins.
#64… Peyton McClendon Peyton McClendon 6'8" | PF Cheltenham | 2026 State PA – 6’7″ / Cheltenham / K-Low Elite / Power Forward: McClendon is a traditional forward who produces points via catching drop passes for lay-ins, the offensive glass and quick one / two dribble moves on the blocks. His length, nose for the ball and quick leaping ability make McClendon a major factor on the boards at both ends of the court. On defense he is an intimidating rim protector too. McClendon is just scratching the surface of his potential.
#80… Marcus Drysdale Marcus Drysdale 6'6" | SF Bethlehem Catholic | 2026 State PA – 6’5″ / Bethlehem Catholic / Team Final Red / Small Forward: In 2022-23 this freshman starter brought a “dawg” presence to the Golden Hawks lineup. Drysdale plays with a noticeable chip on his shoulder, is a plus defender and will mix it up in the paint for rebounds. On offense, Drysdale averaged 8 points per game. He does the bulk of his damage in the mid-range and at the rim, but he will splash the occasional 3-ball. Drysdale scored a season high 18 points (2 triples) against Allentown CC in District 11-4A championship game.
#87… Ya’majesty Washington Ya’majesty Washington 6'3" | CG Warwick | 2026 State PA – 6’2″ / Warwick / Sideline Cancer / Combo Guard: Washington is an intriguing guard prospect who can score at all three levels. He is a high IQ player who uses dribble drive buckets to force a defender to adjust and sag off him. He will then use that space gained to knock home triples. Washington is also a solid transition player who can score through contact. On defense, Washington has a knack for cutting through passing lanes for steals. His 11 points (2 threes) and 9 rebounds effort against Lampeter-Strasburg was impressive. Washington registered 9 points (1 three) vs. then undefeated Radnor in the 1st Round of the 5A state tournament which is noteworthy as well.
#110… Timmy Dennis Timmy Dennis 6'8" | PF Episcopal Academy | 2026 State PA – 6’6” / Episcopal Academy / East Coast Power / Small Forward: With his length, high basketball IQ and accurate shooting stroke (35% 3PM) there is potential for Dennis to develop into a highly sought after stretch-4 prospect. This past season, Dennis was an extremely dependable third scoring option for EA. In addition to popping threes, Dennis scored in close through contact and did solid work on the glass. He averaged 6.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Dennis scored a season high 22 points against Park School and posted 14 points (4 triples) vs. Germantown Academy.
#119… Khabir Washington Khabir Washington 6'1" | CG West Philadelphia | 2026 State PA – 6’1″ / West Philadelphia / We R1 / Combo Guard: Washington’s lightening quick first step enables him to get into the paint with ease. Once he is there, Washington can finish with either hand or drop a dime to an open teammate. Washington is also a superb pick-n-roll guard. Plus, he can hit stop and pop jumpers and threes. He thrives in transition too. This season Washington started 11 games for the Speedboys and averaged 5.4 points as well as 2.2 assists per contest. He netted a season high 18 points against West Catholic.
