Hayden is shooter who shows a consistent shooters pocket with range that extends beyond the three point line. He has a good pull-up jumper going to his left, which is natural for him. He showed the ability to get to the basket and makes good reads on when to use the pull-up jumper. Could use it more going to the right. Anticipates well on defense and jumps passing lanes for steals. As he gets stronger and more explosive, his shooting will benefit across the board, and it is already good. Capable of scoring in bunches with his shooting ability. He should be a stock riser next season with some off-season work on quickness and explosive moves. 3A GSHL 2nd team this season, he averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game.

Another good shooter who can shoot it from deep. He has a great shot mechanics and is capable of some big scoring games. He was an important piece of the 2A runner-up Monarchs this season as a starting guard. He also has a good floater he uses in the lane. He is a capable ball handling guard and makes good decisions. He doesn’t force things, and lets the game come to him. He is a scrappy defensive player who isn’t afraid to stick his nose in and disrupt the ball handler. Next season should see his stock rise as the possible number two scorer behind Braydon Olson Braydon Olson 6’2″ | CG Mark Morris | 2024 State WA . With the loss of Kobe Parlin Kobe Parlin 6’1″ | CG Mark Morris | 2023 State WA and Deacon Dietz Deacon Dietz 6’3″ | SG Mark Morris | 2023 State WA , he will have more opportunities to score. I think he will show that he is more than capable of doing that.

He might be more interested in football after high school as a WR but he is also a stock rising guard on the hoops team. He is great in the open floor as an athletic guard who can finish at the rim. He is a good shooter from three, with range. He is a scoring guard who can put points on the board. He is a high energy player who gets steals on the defensive end and turns them into buckets. Can’t break down the football much but he is an underrated talent in hoops. He could put up some big numbers as a senior next season, depending on what he will be focused on for college.
No secret here, this kid is destined for big things with his talent and work ethic. He averaged 23 points per game in his sophomore season this year. That included some monster scoring games, with the ability to score on all levels. He is a great shooter who can fill it up with the best of them. Although it is his overall ability to shake the defense that sets him apart. He has elite ball-skills and will continue to be a stock riser as he gets stronger and quicker in the next two seasons. He already possesses great quickness and is relentless on both ends of the floor.
