Muntari has the potential to have a monster spring season with his ability to play inside and out. The 6’8 forward has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. Muntari moves well without the ball in his hands and finishes nicely around the basket. He is a strong rebounder and uses his size to influence shots at the rim. Muntari’s ability to hit shots on the perimeter combined with his ability to defend in the post will help his stock in a big way this spring.
Langevine ended the season on a high note and is looking to carry it over into the spring AAU season. The 6’6 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups and dunks in transition. Langevine has a nice touch around the basket and is able to draw contact in the paint. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and swats shots around the basket. Langevine’s ability to swat shots will help his stock in a big way this spring.
Wucherpfennig will be one to watch this spring as he can influence the offense in a number of ways. The 6’5 forward has a good faceup game, which he uses to get to the rim and finish around the basket. Wucherpfennig sets good screens in the half court and can hit jumpers on the perimeter. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid interior defender. Wucherpfennig is a forward prospect whose ability to put the ball on the floor will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Highlights
Ekhelar is a post prospect to watch this spring with his ability to impact the game at both ends. The 6’8 post is a force on the glass as he secures second chance opportunities for his team and rips down defensive rebounds. Ekhelar uses his length to influence shots around the basket and holds his ground on the defensive end. He knows how to draw contact around the rim and has a good touch in the paint. Ekhelar has the ability to break out this season with his ability to block shots and finish around the basket.
Barnes controlled the paint for the Blue Devils and is looking to carry it over into the spring season. The 6’8 post finishes nicely around the basket and has a nice touch on his free throws. Barnes runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy baskets in transition. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses good timing to swat shots on the defensive end. Barnes’ ability to play down low is something that will be key to his development over the next couple of months.
