Today we examined Pennsylvania’s Class of 2025 rankings to review five big men (6’8” or taller) from SEPA who impressed during the 2022-23 high school season.
#3… Luke Bevilacqua Luke Bevilacqua 6'10" | C George School | 2025 State #68 Nation PA – 6’11” / George School / Philly Pride National / Center: One of the biggest stock risers in our updated 2025 rankings, Bevilacqua is a 240-pound double-double machine (16 ppg. & 9 rpg.). But do not let his size, physicality, and interior skills fool you. This kid is more than just a low post threat. Bevilacqua is an extremely athletic big man with good foot speed who possesses a nice face up game and the ability to knock down threes. That versatility enables him to also play in the high post or even as a stretch-4. Bevilacqua’s breakout sophomore campaign pushed the George School to the FSL tournament title as well as the PAISAA state championship game. After the season he was named a 1st Team All-FSL selection. Bevilacqua holds a handful of DI offers.
#9… Shareef Jackson Shareef Jackson 6'9" | C Roman Catholic | 2025 State #249 Nation PA – 6’8″ / Roman Catholic / NJ Scholars Elite / Power Forward: For two years now, Jackson has been a starter in the middle for Roman. In 2022-23 Jackson averaged 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 blocks per game while helping Roman to the PCL and District 12-6A titles as well as the 6A state championship game. His instincts, footwork, and ability to score with either hand are a few of his impressive assets. When Jackson is not bullying his way from the blocks to the rim, he is operating out of the high post. From there Jackson can score off the bounce and is a fantastic passer. Jackson holds a slew of DI offers.
#28… Ben Rill Ben Rill 6'8" | PF Central York | 2025 State PA – 6’8″ / Central York / York Ballers / Power Forward: This high basketball IQ big man posted an extremely impressive sophomore season, averaging 19.5 pointer per game to along with 8.6 rebounds and 2 blocks. In late January, Rill had a three-game run where he averaged 25 points per night. Included in that stellar stretch of play was a season high 38 points in CY’s win over Southwestern. Rill’s height, speed and shooting touch present real matchup issues for opponents. Additionally, Rill has a gritty side to him. So, he defends, rebounds, and competes for 50/50 balls at a high-level.
#33… Justin Houser Justin Houser 7'0" | C Phelps School | 2025 State PA – 7’0” / Phelps School / NJ Scholars Elite / Center: Houser (9 ppg.; 4.7 rpg.; 2 bpg.) used the momentum from an excellent fall as a springboard to a breakout high school season. His versatile offensive skills enable Houser to operate on the interior and the perimeter. He runs the floor well, has solid basketball instincts and can finish with authority through contact. So, Houser is an effective transition big man. Houser will also dabble with the 3-ball (45% 3PM). At the other end, Houser is an intimidating shot blocker and a plus rebounder. He holds offers from Lafayette, Mount St. Mary’s and NJIT.
#40… Onyx Nnani Onyx Nnani 6'8" | PF Phelps School | 2025 State PA – 6’9” / Phelps School / UPlay-Canada / Wing: After just one high school season here in United Sates, it is apparent that Nnani is one of the top 2025 bigs in Pennsylvania. He is fast, super athletic and owns an impressive vertical. Those assets enable Nnani (9 ppg.; 4.7 rpg.; 2.5 bpg.) to finish fast breaks with soaring dunks. In the half court he can score off dribble drives and is a sneaky good 3-point shooter. Back in December at the Peddie Tournament (NJ), Nnani averaged 17points, 9 boards and 3 blocks per contest. He was named MVP of that event. Nnani holds offers from Kansas State and NJIT.
