Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase – GameChangers
In this article:
A recurring segment after each Prep Hoops Showcase and/or Prep Hoops Circuit event will be our GameChangers series. Bringing you the best scorekeeping, live video streaming, and team management services of any mobile app on the market, GameChanger is a product every grassroots team in the country can use to better serve their players and their families.
So, what makes a Prep Hoops “GameChanger?” That is up to the eyes of the beholder. It may be an additional top performer still leftover from our prior event coverage. It could also be a player who made a key play that swung the game or maybe knocked in a game-winning shot that could be highlighted here. Or, it simply could be a prospect that brought all of the intangibles to the table that led his team to victory. Let’s dive on in and highlight some of the GameChangers from Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase hosted at Fishers High School.
Cooper Bobo Cooper Bobo 6'5" | SF Lawrenceburg | 2025 State IN (Lawrenceburg H.S. 2025): It always catches your attention when a 6’5″ sophomore can shoot it the way that Bobo does. He was the leading scorer at Lawrenceburg this season and shot 40% from beyond the arc. That shooting ability certainly continued to Sunday’s Indiana Prospect Showcase. His smooth shooting stroke and quick release making him a really intriguing prospect for coaches to start to follow heading into this spring and summer.
Kenton Farris Kenton Farris 6'1" | SF Bishop Chatard | 2026 IN (Bishop Chatard 2026): Farris is a talented 6’1″ guard that made some really impressive play off of the dribble throughout the day on Sunday. He can create his own shot, gets good elevation on his pull-up, and knocked them in consistently. Has the skill level to play both on or off of the ball as he continues to develop.
Jace Jenkins (Princeton H.S. 2025): Already known as an elite catch-and-shoot threat, this 6’0″ was knocking in shot from the perimeter at the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Camp. Jenkins had it rolling from well beyond the arc making a couple of really deep ones off of the dribble in transition. His skill level on the offensive make him a real threat to score the basketball every time it hits his hands.
Jaunte Jenkins Jaunte Jenkins 6'2" | PG Woodford County | 2025 State KY (Woodford County (KY) H.S. 2025): Jenkins is an aggressive 6’2″ guard that had his offensive talent on full display through the Indiana Prospect Showcase on Sunday evening. After playing a role off of the bench for Woodford County, who advanced to the KHSAA Sweet 16 semifinals less than two weeks ago, the skilled guard showed what he can do against some of the top talent up in the Hoosier state. He has a smooth pull-up jump shot, is excellent driving the ball to his right hand, and has good size in the backcourt. Definitely a name to watch coming out of the state of Kentucky.
Mikial Miller Mikial Miller 6'0" Cardinal Ritter | 2023 IN (Cardinal Ritter 2023): One of just a couple unsigned seniors at Sunday’s event, Miller played well in each game. The 6’0″ guard is extremely physical, strong, and quick from end-to-end. With the ball in his hands he can speed through the defense in transition and is a very willing passer on his way to the basket. His perimeter shooter stroke appeared to be a bit improved as well which makes him even more dangerous off of the dribble. Solid two-way point guard still looking for a home at the next level.
Kolt Nelson (Franklin H.S. 2025): Nelson is a strong 6’6″ forward that showcased a high motor and excellent rebounding ability on Sunday. He can go get it off the glass outside of his area, has the activity level on both ends to impact the game, and finished a high level when the ball came to him. Really impressive physical tools with clear upside to get even bigger and stronger. Look for him to have a good summer playing with EG10 2025.
Jamie Whack Jamie Whack 6'2" | PG Carmel | 2025 IN (Carmel H.S. 2025): One of many talented younger players coming up in the Carmel system, Whack is proving to be a two-way talent that will likely have a very good spring and summer ahead of him. At 6’2″ with long arms Whack can be very disruptive on the end of the floor and has the quickness offensively with the ball to get to the rim consistently. Look for him to contribute in the Greyhounds backcourt the next two seasons.
