Six Prospects to Watch at The Expo - Part Two

We put a lot of time into promoting our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp because they are so important for early exposure and always attract so many talented prospects. However, in terms of actually translating to playing basketball at the collegiate level, The Expo is our most important event. This is where there will all actually be college coaches in attendance and even more paying attention to what we write and release after the fact. For Class of 2027 and Class of 2028 prospects that are serious about playing at the next level this is one of the best events you can attend this fall. We had the opportunity to see him several times between playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 16u on the UA Rise Circuit and with his Tri-West High School team in June. The 6'6" center is mobile running the floor, has good footwork inside, and is a reliable rebounder. There is a lot of upside to be intrigued by with this Class of 2028 prospect.     Following a very productive spring and summer helping lead what was a successful [program_tooltip program_id='2559412' first='Marlin' last='Academy'] (P32) 16u team, Cheesman will be a top Class of 2028 prospect to watch at The Expo in late September. The 6'0" guard is very good when serving as the primary ball handler showcasing the requisite playmaking chops necessary to run the point. However, he is also a capable shooter and talented all-around scorer. He should put up some big numbers this coming season as a junior for Greenwood Christian.     There won't be many prospects at The Expo who had a more productive junior season than this forward from North Posey High School. Compton, a 6'6" rising senior forward, averaged 14.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season. College coaches always are looking for size and this prospect will be one they should get eyes on at The Expo. We are excited to get a more in-depth evaluation at our event.     A reliable guard with [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] 16u, Goodwin is looking to step into a larger role as a junior in the Hamilton Heights High School backcourt. He is a good ball handler and very willing/able passer at the end of his drives. Goodwin is a true floor general and will be one that looks to set up his teammates at The Expo. We are excited to have been a part of our event and will look forward to getting an updated evaluation.     This is the exact type of prospect who can really benefit from The Expo. King is a talented, under-the-radar point guard in Indiana's rising senior class. He is an excellent playmaker that averaged a team-leading 5.1 assists per game for Greenwood Community High School this past season. We are excited to have King attend The Expo put on by us here at Prep Hoops Indiana later in September.     The last chance we had to get a full, in-depth evaluation of this 6'0" guard prospect was at last year's Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. We are excited to see him again at The Expo. Parker Jr., a rising junior from Providence Cristo Rey, had a good summer with [program_tooltip program_id='3698684' first='Fire' last='Basketball Club'] - Orange 16u and is poised for a big high school season. It will be good to update our evaluation of him heading into his junior year.
