This year, he made one of his many stops in Vegas, for the Best of Vegas Showcase at Bishop Gorman High School. The event featured 4 games from the class of 2023 to the class of 2026 and then an All-Class game. I checked out the 2025 game, here are my notes.
I’ve seen him a coulpe of times now and he’s been impressive both times. Played well, rebounding the ball as well as displaying a nice array of 1 v 1 moves.
His offensive game is really developing nicely, he’s been a good shooter since high school, however he’s added some additional demensions, including showing off a nice pullup jumper during the Showcase.
Highlights
The highest ranked player in our rankings to attend the camp showed why. Shaw’s a bucket, and he got them effortlessly. He showed some additional offensive versatility, scoring from behind the line, off the drive and with his back to the basket.

Was one of the best pure scorers at the camp. He did it by relentlessly attacking. The sophmore guard scored by spinning into the lane, running the wing and hitting his patent pull up jumper.

His signature skill is his shooting and he had a good stretch of knocking down shots. He also brought some defensive skill to the table, putting together some impressive weak side blocks during the game.
Highlights
Abittan was a marksman, showing the ability to knock threes down effortlessly with range. Physically He looked a bit stronger, and more explosive.
Highlights
Time to start thinking of him as more of a pure PG. He shredded defenses while getting into the lane and skillfully delivering dimes to teammates.
Rone has always been one of the better transition scorers in the class, so a Showcase setting was right up his alley. He did what he does best, which is get out in transition. He played with active hands, creating turnovers and converting on the other end.
