Here are the top-10 SG's in the 2024 class:

[player_tooltip player_id='1123040' first='Anthony' last='Batson Jr'] Notre Dame Prep

An athletic scoring guard gets downhill well and has improved his three point shooting every season. His long wingspan and springs allows him to play the passing lanes and block shots better then most forwards in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='814525' first='KJ' last='Perry'] Hillcrest Prep

An athletic quick-twitch off guard flies on the break. He pulls up from mid-range with high elevation and is a fierce on-ball defender. He can play and defend multiple positions making him a versatile player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275052' first='Noah' last='Sowunmi'] Paradise Valley

Another unique guard who plays a ton on the ball. He is a bigger bodied guard who handles it well and will make plays for his teammates. He gets downhill, he can shoot the three, play above the rim and defend the 1-4 for the Trojans.

[player_tooltip player_id='1340752' first='Alex' last='Wells'] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

An athletic scoring guard who can shoot it and is extremely athletic. He moves the ball like you should and will defend his position. He has become stronger and more polished in the last year. His feel is high and plays way above the rim on the break. He can handle some of the point guard duties in a pinch too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306025' first='Mason' last='Hunt'] Bradshaw Mountain

A thicker scoring guard with size and strength. He can post up smaller players, hit the three, move the ball and get up on the break. He defends the 2-4 for his team and he should have a huge senior year up north.

[player_tooltip player_id='1483886' first='Landon' last='Brewer'] Boulder Creek

A taller shooting guard was one of my biggest stock risers. He uses his size to get inside the lane to score but this guard can shoot. He has one of the cleaner strokes of anyone on here and plays perfectly off of their two standouts. He will be tough to handle with some sneaky bounce as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1127080' first='Nazir' last='Davis'] Hamilton

An undersized scoring guard is strong and athletic. He can shoot the three but loves getting into the lane and will finish thru contact. He has long arms to play the passing lanes and is physically tough getting to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1757699' first='Paris' last='Strozier Jr'] Thunderbird

One of the top newcomers of the season is a versatile Swiss Army knife. He plays a lot on the ball and finds teammates consistently. He was their best overall defender handling the 1-4 in a pinch and playing many positions. He can shoot plus get to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135515' first='Noah' last='Gifft'] Ironwood

Arguably the top shooter in the class and in the AIA. He is a top notch standstill shooter off the catch from the three point line. He has an almost flawless ball rotation and comes with a super quick release. Look for Noah to have a big season next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1124550' first='Cohen' last='Ferguson'] Campo Verde

A strong guard who may be best off the ball but definitely can play the lead spot as well. He makes smart reads to teammates and can score. He has a pretty stroke from mid to the three point line and uses his frame to get downhill. His competitive level is high and he is tough. One of the big reasons they won the 5A Chip.
