SG Dane Geetings Dane Geetings 6'2" | PG Pella Christian | 2024 State IA (Pella Christian | 2024)
Geetings was coming off a really good week at the state tournament, and he picked up right where he left off, making an impact on both ends of the floor. He’s listed at 6-0, but his wingspan has to be approaching 6-4/6-5, and he uses that length to make a major impact as a defender. He gets into passing lanes, and in a time when many players aren’t seeing man and ball, he’s doing just that. He’s a great team defender who rotates well, contests shots, and will stick his nose in on the glass. His ability to defend multiple positions and use his length effectively is what makes him a game-changer.

There might not be a tougher player in the state than DeVries, a small but mighty lead guard who loves to attack the rim. He has tremendous body control around the bucket and can either finish through or around contact with either hand. A guard with a quick first step, he can get to the bucket seemingly at will and is a fantastic finisher. Defensively, he’s a tenacious on-ball defender who moves his feet really well and has quick hands. While his size may scare some college coaches away, his toughness, competitiveness, and talent will reward whoever is willing to take a chance on him. His non-stop motor is what makes him a game-changer.

A game-changing athlete with good size and length in the backcourt, Fode was in complete control throughout the afternoon for his team as a playmaker and defender. He moves his feet really well on the defensive end and uses his lateral quickness, length, and quick hands to make life difficult for opposing ball handlers. He’s also a talented playmaker who sees the floor really well and is a gifted passer.
PG Tino Daye Jr Tino Daye Jr 6'0" | PG Johnston | 2026 State IA . (Johnston | 2026)
Another game-changing athlete in the backcourt who stood out among the underclassmen on Saturday, Daye is a lead guard who makes an impact on the game on both ends of the floor with his quickness, IQ, and athleticism. He’s a smart guard who understands angles on both ends of the floor, uses his quick first step to get to the rim for finishes or to find a teammate for an easy look, and he’s a fantastic rebounder from his guard spot.

Krumrei was a role player for the Cougars this past season, and will likely step into a much larger scoring role as a senior. He showed the ability to score from all three levels throughout the afternoon in Des Moines, creating his own shot, shooting it off the catch, and pounding the offensive glass. He occasionally stepped down into the painted area as a defender and held his own as well, using his length to contest shots and battling against more physical players. His ability to score from all three levels and get to his own shot, with his size and length, makes him a game-changer.
PF Manasse Kasongo-Malu (Sioux City East | 2025)
Kasongo-Malu is an intriguing young prospect with good size at 6-6, length, and athleticism. He impacted the game on both ends of the floor throughout the afternoon, blocking shots, knocking down 3s, and finishing above the rim. He needs to improve his touch around the bucket still, but he has good hands, is developing his footwork, and has an intriguing blend of size, timing as a defender, and shooting.
