Chidi Nwigwe Chidi Nwigwe 6'6" | SG St. Benedict's | 2026 State NJ , 6’5 Bergen Catholic
Nwigwe is the top shooting guard in the 2026 class with his combination of size, length and shooting. The lanky 6’5 guard has a good shooting stroke and wastes little motion in his release. Nwigwe is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He is a solid rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Nwigwe is a skilled guard prospect who will be one to watch throughout his varsity career.
Jayden Hodge Jayden Hodge 6'5" | SG St. Rose | 2026 State NJ , 6’4 St. Rose
Hodge had a strong freshman season for the Purple Roses as he helped them to the Non-Public B South title. The 6’4 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender and finish around the basket. Hodge plays with poise as he rarely gets sped up and knows how to get to his spot on the floor. He is an underrated passer and is a strong on-ball defender. Hodge is a talented two-way guard prospect who will only continue to grow over the course of his varsity career.
Aiden Derkack Aiden Derkack 6'5" | SG Colonia | 2026 State NJ , 6’4 Colonia
Derkack is an intriguing prospect to watch as he can impact the game in a variety of ways. The 6’4 guard can get to the rim off the bounce and does not mind drawing contact. Derkack uses his size to see over his defender and has a nice release on his jumper. He is a good rebounder and uses his length and athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Derkack is a lanky shooting guard prospect who will only get better over the course of the spring and summer.
Mason Santiago Mason Santiago 6'3" | SG St. Peter's Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’2 St. Peter’s Prep
Santiago had a solid debut campaign for the Marauders as he helped them win the Non-Public A North title. The 6’2 guard has a good shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. Santiago moves well without the ball in his hands and is a good finisher around the basket. He has an underrated handle and is able to get deflections on the defensive end. Santiago’s ability to shoot from deep and make plays on defense will help his stock in a big way during his high school career.
Saad Mitchell Saad Mitchell 6'2" | SG Hudson Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’2 Hudson Catholic
Mitchell is a shooting guard prospect who could breakout during the AAU season. The 6’2 guard attacks the basket strong as he can finish around the basket and does not mind drawing contact. Mitchell can also score in the mid-range and rarely forces shots in the half court. He has a solid handle and is an underrated defender. Mitchell will be one to watch throughout the spring and summer with his ability to get to the rim and finish.
