Another long and wiry wing in the 2026 class, Micah Pierce Micah Pierce 6'4" | SG Paterson Kennedy | 2026 CA-N has showcased his ability to use his length and athleticism on both ends of the floor so far this spring. Offensively, Pierce will look to continue to star off the ball not only as a perimeter catch and shoot guy but also as a guy that keeps the ball moving and plays within the floor this Shoreshots’ offense. Pierce’s length and athleticism have also helped him guard multiple positions. With a strong weekend that sees him do a lot of the little things and be a nice connective piece for this 17U Shoreshots group, look for Pierce to see his recruitment pick up a little bit of steam after this weekend’s live period.

Returning to for year two with his Shoreshots group, Pierce isn’t expected to be looked to for explosive scoring performances, but he played the type of heady complementary game that should attract a swath of college attention in the coming months nonetheless. While he does a fair bit of ballhandling for his high school, Pierce makes his living at the circuit level primarily as a jump shooter, displaying a pure stroke and a soft ball off any number of actions to get him free off the catch. His on-ball experience carries its way over into being a high-IQ connecting passer along the perimeter and quickstrike driver when taking advantage of overzealous closeouts. He’ll need work to fill out his frame at the next level, but Pierce’s low-maintenance and versatile complementary game with his length in the backcourt gives him a chance to make an impact at the D1 level in time.

Arguably the best long-term prospect in attendance, the smooth wing showcased an ability to score at all three-levels while making good decisions with the ball in his hands. He has the prototype wing build; he’s long and lean, but has wiry strength. He made some really nice plays with the basketball in his hands, getting to the rim with little to no wasted movement. His jumper was clean and defensively he gave consistent effort. Smooth is probably the perfect word to describe how Pierce plays.

Pierce is a quick and elusive player who can get points in a hurry with his electric playstyle. Pierce can get to the rim whenever he can and likes to seek contact on his way to the rim. He can go up with both hands confidently. His three-point shooting ability makes him nearly impossible to stop as his range extends well beyond the arc. He has great vision when drawing double teams in the paint and can be a disruptor on defense with his elite speed and lateral movement.
