Johnson is one of the most electrifying players in the state with his unique combination of length and athleticism. He is a player that thrives in transition and wants to play in an uptempo game. Plays with great instincts defensively and has the tools to be an elite defender. His shot is still getting more consistent, but his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact makes him the biggest offensive threat every time he steps on the floor.
Owens has garnered more and more attention as the season has went on, going from playing JV to now leading Bryan Station in scoring as a Freshman. He is a tough, shifty guard that does a good job getting to the rim. Big time competitor, especially defensively as he creates havoc on the ball. Has put himself in the conversation as one of the best Freshman players in the state.
Highlights
Cooper is a natural scorer that can shoot both off the catch and dribble with unlimited range. Does a great job creating separation to get space to shoot. Not overly quick, but has a great handle which allows him to get to any spot he wants. The most underrated part of his game is his vision and passing ability. Gets his teammates easy shots when defenses collapse on him. 12th leading scorer in the state.
Highlights
Hackett is a three level scorer that can play any of the guard positions. He is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Does a great job creating for himself when he has the ball but has the ability to run off screens and shoot. Is a big threat when he gets in the paint to use his athleticism to score over length or shoot floaters. He can get hot quick and score in bunches.

Grant Bowling
Grant Bowling
Bowling is a versatile wing with great size. Big time shooting threat off the catch with deep 3pt range. Does a great job getting his feet squared on shots and will find open spaces to shoot. Plays with a high IQ and fills many roles for Bardstown. Very intriguing prospect for the next level because of his size and shooting ability.
Evans is one of the best big men in the state. He is a big time athlete and great finisher in the dunkers spot. Has the ability to catch in the mid post and drive to the rim. Still developing his back to the basket game but is effective without it at the high school level. Has great instincts defensively to block shots. I am most impressed with his ability to move laterally as I think he will be good guarding pick and rolls at the next level. Big time prospect.

Decker has a college ready body for only being a sophomore. Plays with great pace and never seems to get sped up. Has 3pt range when he gets his feet set and has time to shoot. At his best using his length and size to get to the rim and finish thru contact. Intriguing prospect as I am looking forward to following his development.
Kyler Mclendon
Kyler Mclendon
Mclendon is a scoring point guard that is the heart and soul of Harlan. Does a great job running the team but also scoring the basketball. Elite shooter both off the catch and dribble with deep 3pt range. He changes speeds well, especially in ball screens which helps him get space to score and make decisions. Fun player to watch.
Miller is the senior leader for a young Newport team. Great size and strength which makes him really good driving the ball and in the mid-post. Because of his physicality, it is hard to guard him because bigs can’t keep up with his speed. Good mid-range jump shooter but can be inconsistent as he steps out to 3pt range. High motor and elite competitor.
Kinney is a young poised point guard that does a great job running the team. Rarely gets sped up and has a knack of always making the right plays. Seems comfortable in pick and rolls making reeds. Good shooter with 3pt range and crafty finishing at the rim. Will continue to get better as he gets stronger.
Turner is a high major athlete with great size and length. Will play both the forward and center position but can see him as a dunkers spot big man at the next level. As fluid of an athlete as he is, he has the ability to be an elite defender capable of defending every position on the court. Although his offense is inconsistent, he does have the ability to step out to 3pt range and make shots. If he learns to play with a consistent motor, the sky is the limit.
Simpson is a scoring point guard that has the ball in his hands a lot. Plays with a high motor that is always in attack mode. Has shot the ball better this season which has opened the floor up for him to get driving lanes at the basket. Love how competitive he is.
