It's Tuesday night and time for some outstanding basketball! Here is our list of match-ups to see and the match-ups within those match-ups you should know about!

2AAAA Lakeville North at 9AAAA Eastview

One. [player_tooltip player_id='1492610' first='Sam' last='Nolan'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1139192' first='Dylan' last='Omweno']. Nolan came back from injury and has played well in the spot of the injured [player_tooltip player_id='1269166' first='Matt' last='Drake'], Omweno is scoring 11 a game.

Two. [player_tooltip player_id='1284147' first='Jack' last='Robison'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1178256' first='Elias' last='Batala']. Robison will have the ball in his hands a lot with Drake out, he is the tough match-up in this game. Eastview has a do everything trusted decision maker in Batala.

Three. [player_tooltip player_id='1139350' first='Hudson' last='Vaith'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1625011' first='Mario' last='Adams']. Vaith has had a brilliant and steady senior year while everybody around him has been injured, Adams needs to limit Vaith.

Four. [player_tooltip player_id='1214457' first='Will' last='Kutzler'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1287440' first='Jonathan' last='Mekonnen']. Mekonnen will face a variety as the Panthers try and limit his 19 and 9 a night.

Five. [player_tooltip player_id='962214' first='Nolan' last='Winter'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1140498' first='Chet' last='Kloss']. Kloss plays so hard, and he will need to be at his best to slow Winter, a Mr. Basketball favorite

Prediction: The Lightning just lost to Burnsville meaning they NEED to turn things around so they need this game badly, the Panthers have taken on injury after injury and pushed through, they also have a score to settle with Eastview from earlier in the year. This game could be a ton of fun, I am not sure what to predict but will say Panthers by four as Winter is playing so well.

9A Hayfield at 4A Goodhue

Two. Luke Roschen vs [player_tooltip player_id='1226403' first='Ethan' last='Pack']. The frosh and the veteran, both are game changing shooters. Pack of course is a veteran and does a lot more but both have to be located.

Three. [player_tooltip player_id='1225627' first='Adam' last='Poncelet'] vs Trent Jellum. Jellum is a Viking worker, Poncelet is the second Goodhue option. Jellum (or whomever has Poncelet) has one job, limit him.

Point/Wing/Forward. [player_tooltip player_id='962224' first='Will' last='Opsahl'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='962284' first='Isaac' last='Matti']. These guys do so much for their teams so we may as well just write "everything" for their position. Mr. Basketball Top Ten candidates.

Forward. Justin Buck vs [player_tooltip player_id='1284234' first='Zander' last='Jacobson']. Screen setters, Buck is not a stat stuffer as much as he is a worker, Jacobson is a 15 and 15 guy!

Prediction: I think Hayfield needs this more. They've lost a game or two more than expected on their road to three-peat and I think they, they veteran team, knows the importance of today in a big way, Vikings by five.

St. Francis at 5AAA Princeton

One. [player_tooltip player_id='1492593' first='Derek' last='Stone'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1223105' first='Graham' last='Peterson']. The guard match-up between these two could go a really long way, a good game from Stone and Landon Povlitski is needed.

Forward. [player_tooltip player_id='962233' first='Matthew' last='Bothun'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='962273' first='Cooper' last='Drews']. The stars of these teams, both are having outstanding seasons.

Big. Caleb Shoenrock vs Aaron Keykal. Keykal is one of the best stories of the year, Shoenrock needs to slow him down (along with others).

Prediction: St. Francis has won 6 of 8 and even those losses (Delano and North Branch) were close games to the end. They just beat Becker and Cambrdige and they pushed the Tigers last time. Is now the time? Is St. Francis ready to finally take that next step? It would be fun to see, but I still have too much faith in the Ivy Leaguers, Princeton Tigers by 8.

Mankato Loyola at 5AA LCWM

Josh Kann vs Gage McManemy. Different players but two guys that take the pressure off the top guys.

[player_tooltip player_id='962250' first='Lawson' last='Godfrey'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='962261' first='Zack' last='Wells']. Speaking of top guys, Godfrey and Wells are top guys. And they are do everything guys.

Prediction: The feel is that LCWM is deeper, and that they are at home, and they are on the better run, but are they more comfortable? And comfort can at times get you beat. Close game, LCWM wins by 6.

Rochester Mayo at Owatonna

[player_tooltip player_id='1140142' first='Isaiah' last='Hanson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1220355' first='Blake' last='Burmeister']. The reason that both Mayo and Owatonna are 3-4 wins better than expected so far this year is the total depth of their teams. But Hanson and Burmeister are the heart and sole, and the one with the better game likely wins.

Prediction. This win would be massive for Mayo. Massive. But it's on the road. And Owatonna feels like a four point winner.
