It was a below average scoring night for Hudson, but I thought he had some great passes. Winter and Robison were scoring at a high level, so Hudson took a step back on that front and decided to take over as a facilitator. The 6’5 guard was able to get to dangerous spots around the free throw line, and using his size was able to zip passes over smaller guards into his forwards around the basket. Does a great job of stopping and playing off two feet which allows him to pivot/see the floor, and keeps his options open allowing him to pass or elevate for a shot if needed. Vaith also chipped in with 11 points leading his team to a win over Eastview.

Hudson has solidified himself as one of the most underrated players in the state and continues to turn in solid performance after solid performance. That did not change in the win over a top-5 ranked Eden Prairie team. He was doing it all offensively, scoring a season-high 32 points and conducting the Panther offense at times as well, bringing the ball up the floor. Opponents could not stop him from getting downhill, as he was playing very aggressively resulting in him getting whatever he wanted in the painted area. Lakeville North has been down some key guys with injuries these past couple weeks, but Vaith has stepped up and played a much larger role as of late. He joined a very good 2023 recruiting class for Concordia-St. Paul last week.

Hudson played amazing on Saturday and was a key reason Lakeville North took down Totino-Grace. He scored 17 points with those baskets coming from all three levels as he knocked down multiple three-pointers and mid-range shots, along with some drives to the baskets and a pair of dunks that gave his team the momentum. He is a necessary piece for any great team with the edge and fire he brings when he is on the floor. Vaith and the Panthers have some tough matchups on deck as they head to #10 Wayzata on Tuesday and will take on #1 Park Center on Saturday.
