<h4>North Mecklenburg Patriots (20-2)</h4>

<p>The North Mecklenburg Patriots are coming off a tough loss to JL Chambers this past Friday. They're tied for first in the Queen City Athletic Conference standings with JL Chambers High and hold a 20-2 record with [player_tooltip player_id='1154560' first='Isaiah' last='Evans'] leading the way. Junior sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='1076335' first='Trey' last='Maxwell'] and freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='1680977' first='Ashton' last='Pierce'] have been a few other names to keep an eye on as well with this squad. </p>

<h4>Myers Park Mustangs (18-4)</h4>

<p>The Myers Park Mustangs are currently 10-0 in the Southern Meck Conference with South Mecklenburg (2/7) and Olympic (2/10) left on the regular season slate. Unsigned senior [player_tooltip player_id='997734' first='Elijah' last='Strong'] is posting 15.5 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.5 apg while 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1180892' first='Sir' last='Mohammed'] and 2025 Sadiq White are having a breakout season. Mohammed is posting 13.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 4.5 apg and 2.0 spg while White is putting up 11.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 1.6 bpg in the frontcourt. They're a well-seasoned group with something to prove in 2022-23.</p>

<h4>Mount Tabor Spartans (21-1)</h4>

<p>The Mount Tabor Spartans are the Central Piedmont Conference leaders at 12-0. They've won 16 games in a row and counting following their most recent victory over Glenn High, 66-35. 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1786681' first='Shamarius' last='Peterkin'] is a name to keep an eye on with this group with his ability to play above the rim and make things happen with the ball in his hands. </p>

<h4>Grimsley Whirlies (18-4)</h4>

<p>The Grimsley Whirlies are the current leaders in the Metro Conference at 11-1 heading into the final week. 2025 Zachh Wiggins and 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1786703' first='Jaylon' last='Bumpass'] are two names to watch with them as Wiggins is producing 15.9 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 2.6 apg while Bumpass is an athletic guard producing 12.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 3.1 apg and 1.5 spg in his junior season. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2055663' first='Nick' last='Keith'] is a name to keep an eye on with 8.1 ppg, 2.8 apg and 2.6 rpg. </p>

<p>The Charlotte Catholic Cougars are 10-1 in the Southwestern Conference heading into their final conference game against East Mecklenburg on Tuesday to close the season. Unsigned big man [player_tooltip player_id='1128905' first='Patrick' last='Tivnan'] is 16.6 ppg and 8.7 rpg in the frontcourt while junior guard Ryan Lewis has shined in the backcourt with 14.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 2.0 apg in a breakout junior campaign. He's one to keep an eye on given his ability to knock down shots from deep, he's made 37 3-pointers on the season and shot 51 percent. </p>
