Who stood out in the big games? How did our predictions look? What players shined bright on Tuesday Night? Let's have a look!

The Headline Games

Goodhue's [player_tooltip player_id='962224' first='Will' last='Opsahl'] scored 19 points while creating and rebounding his way to a win over Hayfield as well. This was a statement game in Class A, a statement game in Class A Player of the Year chatter, and a statement game for that Mr. Basketball list of ten. [player_tooltip player_id='1225627' first='Adam' last='Poncelet'] had 13 and Justin Buck had 11. Our prediction was WRONG, quite wrong, Goodhue won 66-52.

[player_tooltip player_id='962273' first='Cooper' last='Drews'] exploded for 31 points, 13 boards, and seven assists while Princeton's defense held [player_tooltip player_id='962233' first='Matthew' last='Bothun'] to thirteen points. I predicted an eight point Princeton win but the huge game from Drews and all around team play both ways made this an 83-63 Tiger victory. Drews was certainly up for player of the evening on Tuesday.

Unfortunately Mankato Loyola's team has been crushed by injuries losing [player_tooltip player_id='962250' first='Lawson' last='Godfrey'] and Carter Zimmerman for some time and while I predicted the winner right (LCWM won), I was not aware of how limited the Loyola was. LCWM go their 20th win led by [player_tooltip player_id='962261' first='Zack' last='Wells'] led with 19 and [player_tooltip player_id='1288793' first='Jack' last='Brockmann'] with 15.

Owatonna picked up an important Big Nine win over Rochester Mayo win 64-50 meaning our predictions were 4-1 for the night (we talked North over Eastview in the big article). Huskies keeping pace at the top of the standings and it was [player_tooltip player_id='1437434' first='Collin' last='Vick'] leading the way scoring 18.

Others

Huge win for Rushford-Peterson in overtime. [player_tooltip player_id='1288816' first='Dawson' last='Bunke'] with the top of the key winner on his way to 24 points while senior [player_tooltip player_id='962288' first='Grady' last='Hengel'] totaled 33 points for the game!

[player_tooltip player_id='1572691' first='Jaleel' last='Donley'] of BSM is really playing well right now. Had 26 against St. Louis Park last night and had a really nice showing against Hermantown over the weekend.

Delano freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen'] has a scoring touch that can explode and last night it did just that as he had 38 points leading the Tigers over Mound-Westonka.

Jacob Herrick scored a team high 16 for Austin who knocked off Northfield 73-69 for a crucial Big Nine victory.

Lester Prairie junior Trever Schauer went for 30 pushing the Bulldogs past West Lutheran 81-79 for the win.
