Players like Chris Nwuli Chris Nwuli 6'7" | SF Wasatch Academy | 2025 State #38 Nation UT and Mason Brown Mason Brown 6'1" | PG Durango | 2025 CA-S have been playing at a high level against top competition. While others like Tee Bartlett Tee Bartlett 6'10" | C Coronado | 2025 State #49 Nation NV have seen their stock rise. In addition to the top-ranked players, several other sophomores have put up big numbers this season including:
No slump for the hotshooting Williams, who has managed to score in double figure in every game this season. He’s averaging over 22 per game, but during a three game stretch he scored 101 points.
The leading canidate for 4A player of the year is averaging over 20 points per game for a Rattlers squad looking for back to back state titles.
Highlights
The hot shooting Rancho PG has amassed 7 games of three or more three pointers en route to averaging over 18 per game.
The Shadow Sophomore has had a dominant scoring season. He’s thrown up 10 games of 20 or more points, while teaming with fellow sophomore Liam Guthrie, to keep Shadow in the playoff race.
Ghallab should be getting consideration for 4A player of the year. He’s been terrific all season, leading the state in double doubles, producing one every game this season.
Highlights
Jackson has had no problem taking over the leadership mantle at Las Vegas. The jitterbug PG has thieved, driven, and shot his way to an 18 point per game average and the Wildcats to a top 5 ranking.
Wilkins is sometimes under valued for what he does. What he does is change the scoreboard with his ability to shoot the ball. At 6’3, athletic and with the aforementioned shooting ability, Wilkins’ 18ppg have the Wildcats sitting second in the Mountain Division.
Highlights
The scoring guard has put up double figures in every game except one this season. His combination of shooting, 1 v 1 ability and craftyness has led to him averaging over 17 per game on the year.
Highlights
Sheets has had no problem carrying the load for the Cougars this season. The sophomore has been a scoring standout from the start of the season. Going for 64 points in his first 3 contest of the season. Sheet’s 17 point per game average has him closing in on 400 total points for the season.
