Sheets can make the spectacular pass along with the easy one. The PG has big time draw and dish ability, and seems to always be on time and on target when delivering passes on fast breaks.

Sheets is one of the most skilled players in the state. While he saw significant minutes as a freshmen, he’s taken his game to another level in his sophomore season. He can score the basketball from a variety of levels and has shown a willingness to get teammates involved. His best game may have been his 31 and 10 rebound performance against Westview.

12↑10 Sheets is the type of player that needs to be seen in person to appreciate. He is highly skilled, showing the ability to get by defenders, and finish over outstretched defenders. He shoots it well, with good catch and shoot ability as well as the ability to hit pull up transition threes. He rises in the rankings thanks to his production to start the season.

Connor Sheets is really good at basketball. The PG carried his team, scoring or assisting on 23 of his teams 27 points in the first half. He reminds me of former Bengals QB Ken Anderson, in the fact that he’s not the fastest or most athletic guy, but defenders can never really get a bead on him. He controlled the pace of the game, using his shiftyness and some good COD’s to beat opponents off the dribble, and he knocked down more than his share of threes en route to finishing with 31 points on the day.

It’s been too long since I’ve layed eyes on Sheets. First thing to watch for is physical growth. His high school coach called him one of the most skilled freshmen he’s ever coached, if he adds some size and muscle then watch out. He’s coming off a team high 16 point performance in the team season opener.

Sheets is a player to keep an eye on. He’s battled tested after starting most of the season for Northern Power Spanish Springs. I didn’t get a chance to see him play live during the grassroots season, however from what I’ve seen on film, and based on past experience, he’s a clear sleeper canidate.
