This appears to be a three horse race between Canfield, Alliance and Youngstown Chaney. Those three teams are all seeded highly and could make some interesting district semifinal and final action. A sleeper team to watch is Madison led by Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1477051' first='Jp' last='Dragas'] who is one of the leading scorers in the state. A district semifinal of Alliance Vs Chaney would feature available seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1477061' first='Diego' last='Allen'] against [player_tooltip player_id='1163464' first='Josiah' last='Gonzalez'].

Northeast 2

This district is more too heavy as the top seed Youngstown Ursuline, led by [player_tooltip player_id='976076' first='Terrance' last='Pankey Jr'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1395690' first='Jaden' last='Payne'], caused the next top 3 seeds to go to the northeast 1 district. The biggest hurdle for Ursuline could be Gilmour, the defending state runner up had a tough season but seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1163470' first='Desh' last='Molton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1163471' first='Brandon' last='Rose'] have shown that they can step up in the bright lights. A young Hawken squad could also be a team to watch, [player_tooltip player_id='1705959' first='Daron' last='Hill'] is one of the top freshman in NEO.

Northeast 3

Akron Buchtel headlines this district with Division I signees [player_tooltip player_id='867954' first='Khoi' last='Thurmon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='867950' first='Amire' last='Robinson'], they have a trio of conference rivals in Rocky River, Elyria Catholic and Bay as potential roadblocks. A round 1 battle between East Tech and Cleveland Central Catholic could be intriguing as well.

Northeast 5

Northeast 4 goes out west so northeast 5 is the fourth and final district in this region. Holy Name is the top seed in the district but five star sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1432004' first='Darryn' last='Peterson'] and CVCA will get the most headlines. Senate league runner up Glenville is also in this district and could get a playoff rematch with CVCA, a game the Tarblooders won last season. Tallmadge is another team to keep an eye on in this district.
