Jamiir Allen Jamiir Allen 6'0" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – Wisconsin Lutheran
Allen finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists on his senior night. When Allen wanted to attack, there felt like little the opposition could do. The speedy, 6-foot guard got the ball, immediately went downhill, and finished at top-end speed. Allen is smooth and electric on the ball, using blow-by ability and above average body control to be able to finish off-balance. When he gets airborne, Allen can finish with either hand or change his shot if he’s met by a defender. Allen is so dynamic with the ball in his hands and his stop-start ability just puts you on your heels as a defender. That’s when Allen can counter and set up his pull-up jumper and can even knock it down in transition. An instant offense type prospect at the next level, I can see Allen having a very nice career in D3/NAIA.
Jack Daugherty Jack Daugherty 6'8" | PF Brookfield Central | 2024 State #311 Nation WI – 2024 – F – Brookfield Central
Daugherty had about three or four triples just rim out on him, but still finished in double figures and put together a strong second half bounce back performance. Facing one of the state’s top defenders, Daugherty just wasn’t going to get his usual looks. After halftime, the Lancers made some adjustments to get Daugherty shooting on the move and freeing up the 6-foot-8 forward. You don’t see many prospects at his size shoot with such a sweet stroke and be able to effortlessly run off screens. As of now, I see Daugherty pushing for a top five spot in the 2024 class. He ended the summer extremely strong and just continues to add to his game every single year. It’s not a surprise mid-major programs are flocking in right now and high majors will continue to evaluate. At his size with a budding, versatile skillset, I think Daugherty’s best days are still ahead of him and he could really take off maybe even still 2-3 years into his collegiate career. I could even see Daugherty following a similar mold as Andrew Rohde or Jackson Pavaletzke — maybe he’s not quite ready for a high major come July, but once Daugherty’s senior year or his freshman season in college rolls around, are they gonna wish they rolled the dice?
Kon II Knueppel Kon II Knueppel 6'6" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State #15 Nation WI – 2024 – W – Wisconsin Lutheran
Both Ohio State and Wisconsin were on hand to watch Knueppel Monday night. Once the score got out of hand, Knueppel took his foot off the gas pedal a bit, but impressed in limited duty, posting 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals in just 23 minutes. You put Knueppel on the floor, good things happen. Knueppel is more than capable of getting 30 points every night, but he continually plays and gets his production within the flow of the offense, which allows everyone else on the floor to thrive. Sure, you’ll see the occasional quick shot, but Knueppel’s not out there taking 4-5 plus dribbles before he gets his look. Off the ball, Knueppel is exactly what you want as a coach. If his defender is denying him, Knueppel is screening for others. He’ll patiently wait for a breakdown or his defender to turn his head. At that point, it’s over as Knueppel has found space for a rhythm jumper. A selfless star, Knueppel had as many rebounds (8) as shot attempts Monday night. Knueppel distributed the ball exceptionally well on Monday and didn’t force a single shot. Just about any time Central threw an extra defender at him, Knueppel made them pay, shoveling the ball inside for an easy layup or skipping cross-court for an open ‘3’.

Anthony Rise Anthony Rise 6'0" | CG Brookfield Central | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G – Brookfield Central
Liked some of the things Rise was able to do, particularly offensively after I’m sure his coaches challenged the team to step up in the halftime break. For a 5-foot-11 guard, Rise scores it surprisingly well in the mid-range. He’s comfortable drifting or floating, taking his momentum away from the basket if needed. When he gets into traffic, Rise plays poised, under control, and without tunnel vision, able to feel the help defense coming. Having a breakout sophomore season, Rise is giving the Lancers 13 points and three assists per game as a sophomore. He’s not a true point guard, but can certainly aid teams in the playmaking department. As a scorer, Rise has really developed some confidence since his freshman season. Rise isn’t gun shy if a couple shots have fallen and is steadily becoming a threat to pull it from just about anywhere on the floor.
