Better late than never - these upperclassmen have taken the reigns this season and broken out in big ways. The opportunity presented itself and they were ready to seize it, taking the ball and having monster seasons for their respective teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450934' first='Bo' last='Gionet'] | West Seattle

West Seattle has been a tough team all season in the highly-competitive Metro League and Gionet has been a key piece for the Wildcats who are now one win away from a trip to the state tournament. Gionet is a big guard who not only excels at spacing the floor but brings that size to the defensive end racking up steals and blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1728922' first='LeDarius' last='Washington'] | Mountain View

Washington was a late bloomer but came on strong this season to help Mountain View win the GSL 3A. He's a long and athletic post that finishes high above the rim and sends opponents' shots back. His game still has some maturing to do but he's made big strides in his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612241' first='Dalton' last='Brown'] | Tahoma

Tahoma lost a big portion of their starters and scoring from last season and it was going to be curious to see who stepped up to take the lead. Brown has been their leading scorer at around 16 points per game and has come up with timely buckets to help the Bears avoid a drop off and finish the regular season 18-4.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270842' first='Emmett' last='Marquardt'] | Garfield

Marquardt is a player many people have been waiting to break out for a while now, but that is kind of how it goes on one of the state's most talented programs. He waited, and now in a starting role, has shined for the Bulldogs as a versatile big man who can stretch the floor, defend the rim, and do a little diming in between.

Ne'Quan Brown | Stadium

Brown transferred over to Stadium from Washington and immediately became the go-to guy for the Tigers. He's a long guard/wing who has superior athleticism and strength and can shoot the lights out at times. He's the type of athlete who can make it look a little too easy and really tapped into his potential in his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450563' first='Jaxon' last='Dubiel'] | Mountlake Terrace

Dubiel was another Wesco guard stepping into the starting lineup this season. He has been a reliable scorer for the defensive-minded Hawks and can put it in the basket from all levels. He has brought the pace in transition when the Hawks create all their turnovers and sells out for every play.

Better late than never - these upperclassmen have taken the reigns this season and broken out in big ways. The opportunity presented itself and they were ready to seize it, taking the ball and having monster seasons for their respective teams.
