Matthew Lebron Matthew Lebron 5'10" | SG Banning Lewis | 2026 State CO – James Irwin
James Irwin has a reliable playmaker and lead ballhandler within the forseeable future. The point guard brings a calm pace of play, rarely rushing his decisions. Standing right around 5’8, Lebron enjoys utilizing hesitations to freeze point of attack defenders, subsequently blowing by for drives. While attacking the rim, Lebron seeks out teammates in the paint should help defense arrive. To kick off the season, Lebron has posted a team high in 15.7 points, while adding on 3.7 assists, and 3 steals per game while knocking down 33% of triples. The point guard already has a reliable jump shot when coming off the catch. Continuing to develop his touch inside the arc will be essential to the young guard’s scoring package.
Jaedon Ward – Riverdale Ridge
Ward is an especially intriguing guard, given his immediate level of maturity as a vocal communicator. The secondary playmaker is a capable shooter off the catch, contributing 35% of his nearly 8 three point attempts per game. Although not just a shooter, Ward has displayed fundamental defense, utilizing his wide reach to make perimeter shots difficult. To kick off the season, Ward has posted 14 points and 1.3 steals per game on 40% from the field. Defensively, Ward impacts passing lanes more times than not. He puts in the effort to create deflections and tip away passes.
Caleb Fay Caleb Fay 6'4" | SG Kent Denver | 2026 State CO – Kent Denver
Fay is just too strong for most freshman. Already physically imposing at roughly 6’4, Fay benefits from downhill drives coming off a rotating defense. The freshman has opened up the season with 12.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while knocking down 56% of two point attempts. There are not often athletes this strong for the class, Fay is frankly too much to handle for most perimeter players. Fay gets quite a few opportunities as a downhill playmaker, leveraging his physicality for passing opportunities. Already used to being doubled, Fay’s pivot foot is dependable versus physicality, rarely caught turning the rock over.
Anthony Rodgers – Kennedy
Rodgers brings fluidity on the wing, standing roughly 6’3. The freshman forward has been a dependable scorer with Kennedy, getting buckets in a variety of ways. Typically utilized as a play finisher, Rodgers has shown encouraging moments. He has made attempts in the low post, often turning over the left shoulder for short fadeaways. Rodgers has flashed perimeter shooting as well, knocking down a few threes throughout the season, typically off the catch. The defensive end will be a key area for him, boasting plus reach. Although in the ballpark of 150 pounds right now, Rodgers can be a truly versatile defender with added strength while retaining the lateral quickness.
