Well, there are a lot of basketball players in Michigan right now who’s play warrants more publicity. Below, we’ll take a closer look at some of these athletes.
Lincoln is pretty underrated as a basketball player in my opinion. He’s almost always at the top or near the top in scoring for his team. Lincoln is a very good all around athlete.
Moffitt has sort of quietly had a really big season. He’s been shooting and scoring at a high clip. Consistently in the 20’s, and even 30’s, in points, he’s shown some real expolsiveness.

Don’t let Stockford sneak under the radar. He can run the floor and get off the ground in a hurry. Stockford was recently recognized as an All-Showcase performer at the MLK Showcase.
Jordan Sigmon

Sigmon is easily one of the best and most talented freshman in the state. He hasn’t played much like a freshman this season. Sigmon has been a dynamic playmaker and bucket getter.
Vanlaningham has been a prospect that’s always deserved a lot of publicity. He’s always been an elite shooter and scorer, but these days he’s added to his repertoire. Vanlaningham handle the ball, attack off the bounce, and finish at the rim.
Lewless has been playing some of the best basketball in the state. Between the ears, there’s nobody better. We could talk about his elite physical skills and traits, but it’s his leadership that’s stood out the most.

Hatchett has been a bucket for Ottawa Hills this season. He’s not just a shooter, as he can score athletically from multiple spots on the floor. Hatchett was playing strong in the fall and that has definitely continued into the high school season.
